They did a horrible job. I had even emailed pics if the cracks & driveway to the owner of the company (by his request) to ensure they could fix the cracks. They did a horrible job & the cracks are still there. I called the company back (several times before they responded) & they said they'd come back to redo. They didn't let us know they were here, no knock on the door, nothing & frankly, it didn't look any better. We've even had neighbors mention what a poor job they did on our driveway. Never again!

Making an appointment was simple as expected. Two kids showed up around the time that was expected. The job that was done was terrible. There wasn't a consistent application of the sealant. Some cracks weren't even filled/treated. Worst was the splatter left on the garage doors and siding. The crew left without any notice after they were done -- most likely because of the job they did and the mess they left. When you call, you will rarely (if at all) reach someone. If someone does answer, it's just apparently an answering service as they can't answer any questions other than take appointments and messages. After a couple weeks or so of leaving messages, I actually made contact with the answering service person. I was told the owner is aware of the issue and that he personally would be out within a few days to try and fix the mess and missed work. After a series of calls back to them, no one ever returned the calls and no one came out to the house.

We purchased a voucher from Living Social for the amount of $99. That voucher was for a seal coating for a two-car driveway with Elite Seal. After purchasing the voucher we contacted Elite Seal and scheduled a date for them to come out and do the work. A day before the scheduled date Elite Seal contacted us asking to reschedule due to hot weather conditions in the area. We agreed and scheduled a new date for them to come out. On that second date, when their crew failed to show up I contacted Elite Seal. They informed me that their truck broke down and that they would contact me shortly and let me know the crew?s ETA. Despite two further calls on my part to them later that day and a day later no one from Elite Seal bothered returning my calls. When I finally was able to get a hold of them, Elite Seal claimed that they had a crew sent to my house on Sept. 5. If that was indeed the case, they had failed (again) to notify us that would be done and failed to coordinate with us. Giving them a final opportunity to do the work we agreed with them to a new date?Sept. 12. However, once again, the work was not done without any calls to us explaining the failure to do it. Only after I had left a message with Elite Seal informing them that I consider their persistent failure as their unwillingness to do the work and that I would report the same to Living Social, Angie?s List and BBB did I get a call back. This time, the story given to me was that the crew did show up on the 12th and determined that the driveway are concerned is larger than the 800 square feet to which the voucher relates. Again, no attempt has been made to contact us to inform us of the same. Moreover, if, as Elite Seal alleged, their crew was out on Sept. 5 to do the work, how was it that they have failed then to notice that the driveway was larger than 800 square feet? For whatever it is worth I will also note that at no point, including my conversation with Elite Seal?s representative on September 13 did I receive any sort of apology for their continued failure to live up to their obligations. UPDATE: This is the response I received from BBB regarding this issue: After numerous attempts via telephone and certified mail trying to reach this company, they have chosen not to respond to our requests. We understand this does not resolve your complaint against the company and empathize with your frustration over this issue. We will be closing the case as "unanswered". Your complaint will remain in the company's business review for 36 months, our standard reporting period. That review is made available to the consuming public, the news media and various regulatory agencies. Your complaint will reflect the lack of response by Elite Seal and cause their BBB grade to drop. Hopefully your complaint will spare another consumer from having the same experience that you had. If the company contacts you and a resolution is reached, please let me know so our records are current. Thank you for using the BBB's free services.

Purchased Living Social deal for $129 for Elite Seal. Scheduled driveway work for mid-morning on Tuesday, 9/3/13. My husband got all weeds out of cracks and cleaned the driveway to prepare the day ahead of time. When they didn't show up by 12:30p, I called Elite Seal. The woman at Elite Seal told me that they had a truck break down and she was waiting for them to let her know what is happening with the truck and she would get back to me when they will be able to get there or if I need to reschedule. I waited all day but she never got back to me. I called again around 2:30p and left a message. I called again around 4:30p and left a message. Nobody ever got back to me. I read reviews on Angie's List and other sites and saw a trend of them not keeping appointments and not getting back to people. I called another company who was able to come out and do the driveway on Friday. Living Social said they would give me credit, which I am waiting for. Elite Seal finally called me back on Thursday afternoon. I told them no thanks.

They were fantastic. Communicated well and showed up when promised. Quality of work was great and products were better than we expected for the price. It would have cost us the same or more to do it ourselves with lesser quality materials. Very good job of cleaning before and after, and edges were straight and neat. We have recommended them to our neighbors and about 15 are scheduled already. I just read my review and it sound like I'm related, but I never met these guys before.

Getting the appointment set up was frustrating enough, then having them cancel on the day of the appointment was so frustrating that I didn't reschedule the appointment. That's about all there is to say.
