Excellent job! Helped plan deck to support hot tub.

We live in a townhome and the association provides stain but wants owners to do the staining to save costs. We decided to hire to have work done. I live in Rosemount so was pleased that there was a provider in our area. I called and left a message asking if this was a service that he could provide, acknowledged it was a small job. Asked that he get back to me one way or the other and never received any response.

Scott responded promptly to our request for a quote on constructing our deck. He brought samples of various deck materials to our home to aid us in deciding what product and color would work best for us. He suggested a size and style of deck to best suit our space and needs. His quote was competitive. This was late in the season but Scott promised to fit us in to his schedule so our deck could be completed yet in 2013. Once they started there was no delay in completing the project. They did a beautiful job and constructed a very sturdy deck. Everything was cleaned up at the end of each day. They were professional, congenial, and competent. We were extremely satisfied with their knowledge and workmanship.

Scott came out to give us a bid for a retaining wall in the front of our home, basically i purchased the product, he picked it up from the store and installed it 1 day. He did such a great job I went on to have him do a fence (cedar) another retaining wall and he built a pergola for us over our hot tub. He also gave us a quote to redo our deck which we intend to do in the spring/late winter. In all instances he never tried to up sell us, i had to ask him each time and quot;how much would this job costand quot; it was refreshing to deal with the carpenter rather than a sales person trying to sell me something I didn't want/need. He had 2 or 3 people help him but in all instances he was on site doing the work. Now it looks like instead of rebuilding the deck I'm going to have him do a 3 season porch for the same amount of money $$$ that other companies wanted to rebuild the deck 14x36'...
