We just love these people! We used them 4 years ago to replace a fence in part of our backyard. So, when it came time to replace another portion it was very easy to know who to call. They were professional, timely and friendly! Will be using them again, probably in 4 years, when the last portion of the fence will need to be replaced.

Very smoothly and the fence looks fantastic. The guys were friendly and they worked efficiently. The estimate was very professional and thorough, explaining how the posts would be secured based on our terrain, fence height, gate widths, etc. They were recommended by our neighbors. They are not the cheapest in town but based on the quality of fencing I've seen from other companies, they are the best in town. We would definitely recommend & hire them again.

Dakota Unlimited fenced in my large back yard with a high quality black chain link and it's beautiful. From the beginning of this project with Tony, to completion (working with Skillet, Corkie, Steve, Justin, Jake and people answering the office phone) the project was seamless. All steps along the way were accomplished as planned. The final product looks great! I hired two other "big" fence contractors in the past, and Dakota nailed it without the issues I faced with the other contractors. The team was upbeat, friendly and respectful, and attended to every detail. I became part of the team to ensure I was completely satisfied, and I am! The bid was close to the other estimates I received; and Dakota utilizes full-time employees vs. subs. Everyone I worked with cared about my expectations as a customer. They have a comprehensive process and the team works effectively together. I highly recommend Dakota Unlimited! I am an extremely satisfied customer!!

I contacted Midwest Fence and Dakota for estimates. For several reasons I felt Midwest was not going to be satisfactory. Dakota accurately estimated the job (even calling some experts). The bid was three figures lower then Midwest because the job was carefully estimated. Joe Jerhoff did the estimating. Since this was a repair it had to wait for full fence work to be done. The Dakota Crew arrived (warning call ahead) and started immediately. They knew exactly what to do and did it correctly. My gate was not perfect and they fixed that as a favor!!! I could not ask more of Dakota Fence or Corky and Company. Outstanding in price, service and product!!!!

The entire team was great. They were courteous and prompt. The finished fence looks better than anything in our neighborhood (a little envy boasting there!). Even the cement at the base of each 4 by 4 post was smoothly troweled out. Great job!

We got 3 estimates for a black chain-link fence. Dakota was a little more $$ then the other 2 companies but well worth it! Dakota had a very quick response time in calling back when ever I had questions (which I had many). Joe was very knowledgeable on fencing installation and honest about pricing. Joe did also tell us that they usually are higher priced compared to other fencing companies and told us why...the service. Dakota was prompt and on time with installation and clean-up. All the staff we met were friendly and courteous...we could not have had a better experience. The Fence looks great and we have one happy black lab!

I am so happy with this company. I used them for repairs at our old house and now to replace large sections of fence at our new house. They do what they say, when they say they will or even early sometimes. They do a great job, clean up afterwards, and keep me informed throughout the process. Due to a change in what was needed, I was owed a refund, and I got the refund within five days. I know other reviewers say they are not the lowest priced, but I am happy to pay a little extra for this quality of service. I will definitely use them when the rest of the fence needs to be replaced.

Estimator arrived on time as promised. Took measurements and provided us with several estimates on site, respecting our budget. Once HOA approved the design, installation was scheduled approximately 5 weeks out. Dakota took care of all the permits, land survey, etc. Scheduler called us a few days in advance and installers were very professional. Installation was complete within about one week. Fence is beautiful! Although the pricing of the fence and installation was quite high, we believe the value Dakota provided and the work they performed, was well worth it. They also provide a nice warranty that stands behind their work. We couldn't be more pleased. Thank you Dakota Unlimited!

Absolutely fabulous process for getting a quote. They were quick to come out, explained everything really well and got me a quote same day. We went with another company who came in with a better price.

We really liked Dakota. They were wonderful at honoring our quote even though we did wait a little bit to perform services because we were still indecisive about how much we wanted to fence (as well as deciding between chain and wood). They were quick to respond, had a detailed quote, were professional and on time, and did a great job with the final product. They explained the whole process and were really up front with the charges and clear on services. We did quote several and while Dakota was not the cheapest (they also were not the most expensive) we felt we were going to get the best service and product for the price. We are going to add on to our fence after all and will be using Dakota again.

The fence looks amazing! Dakota did a great job on our relatively small project. We needed fencing to cover the back half of the lot next to our garage and in front on either side of the house. White aluminum to match the porch railings. They took their time to figure out the best location for each of the gates, and made good recommendations. When we booked they were quite full, so we were worried about whether the project would get finished before the snow started to fly, but they got an opening and fit us in. The fence runs straight and the gates swing true - can't ask for much more.

I got three estimates for a new fence. Andrew from Dakota came out and was super informative and friendly (even had my niece riding his long board while he finished up his estimate). I expected Dakota to be a touch higher than the other estimates but they came in right in line, so I went with them. Installation date came within a week or so of Andrews estimate (even though we were bout 8 weeks out at the time). Installation went well, fence looks great, crew left the yard very clean. About a week later I noticed a couple minor scuffs. I called just to see what they'd say. Sent a crew out to touch it up (even wiped down the entire fence that had build up some water spots) and even left me with a bottle of touch up paint! Everyone loves the look of the fence, and I think it will last for years.

We are all drawn to excellence and want to applaud it when we see it because we know that excellence doesn't happen by itself. From design to clean up, Dakota Unlimited is exceptional. We could not be more impressed; we could not be more pleased; we could not recommend a provider more highly. We absolutely love what they did for us and have the highest respect for every aspect of their work. What are the criteria we consider in projects such as these? Cost, completion,clean up, consultation, design, focus, minimal interruption, professionalism, quality, result, satisfaction. value. Dakota Unlimited is the best contractor we have ever had do work for us. The workers are diligent and focused. The crews are intent on their operations and tasks. The owner comes out to make contact with his staff and to be sure that the course is straight forward. They use the highest grade of materials and built the fence on site! A+ work and customer service from start to finish. We had an eight-week wait between the estimate and installation, and that time frame was shared with us up front. Everything was spot on - our planning was thorough, was thorough, the estimate was honest and transparent, the timeline matched what was promised, the walk-through just prior to installation answered our questions, installation was efficient and clean, and the final cost matched the estimate. Throughout the process, we had a team of 3-4 people call regularly to check progress and answer our questions. After fencepost installation, and before completion of the full fence, the company's owner visited our property to inspect the work and answer any final questions. Smooth from start to finish, reasonable cost. We would absolutely recommend Dakota to anyone in our area looking to install a fence. Thank you for your amazing work!

Choosing Dakota to install my privacy fence was a great decision. The workmanship is outstanding, the crew was on time both days, there is nothing to clean up and I couldn't be more pleased with the results.

We met with Andrew Laliberte a couple of months ago, he came out to our home, gave us an estimate, an approximate date for the installation and advice on what to use to replace our existing fence. No hassle, no pressure, no problems. It was a joy to work with Andrew and Dakota, they showed up on time, did exactly what they promised, the crew was delightful, and the finished product...excellent. Craig, the foreman was very professional as was the entire crew, meticulous. They were done in what I thought was record time. I'd work with them again anytime, in a heart beat. BTW...Andrew called me today to follow up on the job and make sure that we were satisfied. That's great customer service.

This went way better than I thought! This was my first home purchase, and therefor my first fence install process / purchase. Rick took care of the permits, surveyor contact details, scheduling, and even billing questions. Their crew is all in house, without any subs, and were very polite and quick. The posts went in very fast, and they installed the fence / gates about 1.5 weeks later, and we didn't even have to be home which was perfect. The fence itself is very sturdy, and the gates will last for a VERY long time - I don't see them bending or falling off anytime in the future. We have a very steep grade where one of the gates are, and they were still installed straight and sturdy. I am very happy with my purchase, and glad that there are people out there like Rick who love their job and helping people. I would recommend this company hands down - oh and one more thing - they had better bids than 2 other top Angies fencing companies :)

They did a beautiful job. It's a great company. We had contacted them and they told us it's a bit of a backlog. We waited for several weeks but there were no problems. When they came, they brought out a huge crew. They were constantly checking in with us to make sure everything was fine. The fence is absolutely beautiful. We would highly recommend them. Rather than having several people out, we just took them because of the reviews on Angie's List. It's a one-time project but if we needed more work done, we will definitely have them.

Our previous property had existing fence installed by Dakota Unlimited and we used them to come back out to install a new gate. Because of the quality of the product and work performed, we contacted the company again this year to install a fence for a new property we recently moved into. Andrew with Dakota Unlimited came out to measure and provide us with a quote. 3 to 4 weeks later, the crew came out to install the fence. Everybody who we dealt with has been friendly and professional. Very satisfied with quality of the work. I would highly recommend this company for fence install.
