Jerry Engle (owner) did an excellent job. He always cleaned up every day after he was done working. He uses quality materials which results in a beautiful finished job. The quality of workmanship was excellent. The deck now looks like it did when it was built almost 20 years ago but a lot better with the aluminum handrails. I was a little worried about the aluminum handrails being strong enough, but after installed they were better than the old wooden rails that they replaced. Also now I won't have to stain them in the future. I am very pleased with the finished job and look forward to enjoying it this summer. I would highly recommend Big Jer's Construction and Remodeling if you have any home repairs or improvements you would like done.

Jerry rebuilt the walls in a stairwell after mold remediation was complete. He also replaced exposed insulation and moisture barrier. He did a really nice job, mudding 3 times and sanding to make sure it all blended in. He even noticed a dent in the wall at the top of the stairs and repaired that while he was at it. He came when he said he would and completed the job on time for the estimated cost. This was a little job, but I would consider him for a bigger job next time.
