+ 1 moreIt was really great working with Andy on this project. He was really fair at every turn and provided a high-quality product. His subcontractors all did good work and were respectful of our home and family. In general, the work was completed on a timeline pretty close to the originally proposed schedule. There was only one part of the project that dragged on a little longer than we would've liked, but that was probably partially our fault for not following up on it frequently enough.
Description of Work: Worth Design Build was our contractor for a master suite renovation. We had hired the architect separately. The entire space was almost completed gutted down to studs and rebuilt. We put in a new master bathroom, walk-in closet, new lighting, new hardwood floors in part of the area, new low-profile cast iron radiators, and new window frames. The cost of service that I listed covered only the contractor's service (including the subcontractors). We bought most of the materials (e.g. bathroom fixtures, light fixtures) ourselves and paid the architect separately for the designs.

+ -1 moreBill was great to work with. He was very helpful in designing our house and getting it to be exactly as we wanted it. Throughout the whole project, he was very professional, dependable, patient, flexible and everything was done exactly on the schedule that he had given us. Bill had many good ideas to make our design even better, but listened to us carefully when we had thoughts/concerns that were different than his. Overall, we are very happy with our house and the experience of building. I would not hesitate to recommend Worth Construction.

+ -1 moreGetting an accurate bid on a custom home construction project is time consuming and risky. Worth Construction went the extra mile working with us to make sure our estimate would be useful even knowing an important part of a good quote is for the buyer to shop around. In our case they were competing against ourselves as we were considering managing the project without professional help. Communication was always prompt and courteous. Even though we did not choose to contract with Worth Construction I would recommend to pursue them as a potential. We would have chosen them over any other of five builders we considered, except we chose to act as general contractors ourselves.
Description of Work: Quotation for new custom home construction. The steps involved a few face to face meetings, phone calls, and e-mails to work out the details.

+ 1 moreBill's brother, Todd, did the majority of the carpenter work. They were both excellent to work with. They were professional, dependable, and got the job done in a timely manner, even ahead of schedule. Bill had very good ideas to help make the final product work well for us. He is very knowledgeable in all areas of construction. Bill was very responsive to any questions or needs and very pleasant to work with. I would not hesitate to recommend Worth Construction.
Description of Work: Bill Worth was the general contractor for building a 12' x 16' addition onto our house, extending our dining area. It was built pretty much where our old deck had been. The job also included an 8' x 10' deck off of the addition, and tearing out our old kitchen cabinets and appliances and putting in some new drywall where needed in the KT. In order to have the old part of the house blend with the new we also had him prep for a new hardwood floor and had the ceilings redone from a popcorn ceiling to a knock-down ceiling in the existing LR, KT and hallway. We used James Hardie lapboard siding and Marvin Infinity windows on the addition to match the rest of the house. The deck was all Azec materials. We used our own sub-contractors for the gas fireplace, KT cabinets, and hardwood flooring.
