Gary was very easy to work with and he performed quality work in a timely fashion. His subcontractors were very professional. The only hiccup we had was that Gary under estimated the order lead time and cost for the iron spindles on our stair railing/banister. This pushed out the time frame for when the stairs could be finished by several weeks.

Very thing went well. Did the job and removed all the framing and screens from the deck; was very professional. I will be hiring him again in the future. Does excellent work.

Our neighbors have used them a few times. It was kind of expensive because they hard the composite deck so instead of using little timbers, they used the A bed cedar posts. The work was real good. They had good attention to detail and they also put the windows and siding. Sometimes they were a little bit slow getting there.

Gary and his crew were pleasant to work with. They did a great job moving the plumbing, grading the concrete, tiling the floor and shower, installing the fixtures and the pocket door. We were limited with ceiling height as well as the large plumbing pipe, but Gary did a fine job of fitting it all in. There are low spots in the ceiling where I have to duck (I'm 6'4and quot;) but this was unavoidable. Gary made sure to leave plenty of room in the shower for me. The only thing that went over budget was the time it took. Gary and his team worked over the course of three weeks; initially I thought it would be one week total. We were not told why it took longer than anticipated. This did not take away from the quality of work performed. It would have been nice to know why, though.

Gary was very responsive and always kept me informed throughout the entire project. I was not on site during most of the construction and Gary took extra steps to communicate during every stage of the project. Extra prep work was done in order to meet handicap requirements. Gary is very personable and seemed to treat the project like he would if it were in his own home. He kept the area very neat each day. I am happy to have a and quot;Handy Manand quot; friend who I can call on from now on for myself and the rest of the family. Thank you Gary! You made the project painless and my Mom felt comfortable with you and your crew. She just loves it!!

Overall it went very well and we met with the owner. I can't say that he offered us much in the way of design, but he was extremely thorough with respect to the types of elements that would go into an extremely detailed estimate. So, everything from all the finishes and fixtures, the type of flooring and they type ceiling was detailed. I would say that he was very detail oriented. He was on time.

I liked the guy. He was very easy to talk to and had good ideas. I was satisfied with the quote.

The work turned out great and they did a fantastic job. They were prompt, professional, and courteous. I would recommend him to others.

We met with Gary and he listened to what we wanted done with the basement and added some great ideas which we never thought of. He did a wonderful job keeping us updated on what was being done and stayed within the budget. The basement is now our favorite place in the house.

Since the garage was “completed”, we’ve had nothing but problems. We’ve tried to work with Gary, and have even had him out twice, but he will only fix the smaller issues – not the ones that may cost him some money. Because this garage was a large investment for us, we’re concerned about the quality of his work and whether the structure will last over the long term. We’re mainly having issues with moisture -- because the garage floor was poured incorrectly, water flows to the sides of the garage and seeps into the drywall and likely down to the basement, rather than out the front of the garage. Gary says this floor is to “code” and will not do anything to fix it. In addition, water is also seeping into the basement from the outside front of the garage – a place that Gary admits he did not pay proper attention prior to the driveway installation. This is not the first project Gary has done for us, and that is one reason we’re so disappointed. While his prices are fair, and he pays his subs, his attention to detail has been sorely lacking. And now that he’s taken the position of being penny foolish, we, his once-satisfied customers, can no longer recommend him to our friends or to Angie’s List.

They arrived when promised, they cleaned up nicely. The overall project was excellent. There was no hassle with payments or anything. They were very easy to work with us throughout each stage of remodel. The price was appropriate for the job.

Gary did a great job. This little project required three trips due to the mudding/taping/sanding aspect of the drywall work. Gary was punctual and professional on every visit. We plan to contact Gary for a bid on a brand new basement guest bathroom within the next few years. We are impressed with his portfolio of projects.

Project duration: Sept - Dec '08. We hired Gary based on Angie's List and from his references. We liked his candor, sense of humor, experience, professionalism, perfectionism and communication style. From the beginning we had a wonderful working relationship with Gary. Top Notch Communicator! He told us what to expect, when to expect it and what it would involve. Gary introduced us to everyone who would work in our house. We felt completely comfortable with his crew and the subcontractors with whom he works. We had planned this project for years, so we had specific ideas in mind. Gary listened carefully and took notes on everything we requested, then added his ideas as we talked. We worked well as a team. He was great at solving situations with us that came up along the way. We are SO absolutely delighted with the result and enjoy it every single day. We HIGHLY recommend him to others who need home remodeling. See photos. They speak for themselves.

It was a great experience. Gary was great to work with and kept us updated on the progress of the project. The project took longer than expected due to weather issues but we did not experience any negative issues because of it. We also added work in the middle of the project by replacing/repairing a balcony floor and door. Gary took a look and was able to incorporate it and finish it at the same time. After the work was completed the balcony began to leak. We called Gary and he came out to fix it for no charge. Gary's price was very reasonable and would have absolutely no hesitation in working with him again. A great experience!

Gary did a fantastic job - he and his team were punctual and kept to the work time line they provided us. They kept the house clean and did an extremely professional job. From start to finish the work was completed in less than 11 weeks and that included 3 weeks waiting for the kitchen cabinets. Gary was full of great suggestions when we talked about the layout of our space and happily accommodated our requests to change walls to add a recess at no extra cost. Gary's original bid was about $51,000 but we found his allowances to be very generous and so we actually came in $2000 under budget.

EXCELLENT EXPERIENCE, WILL USE AGAIN FOR ADDITIONAL WORK. WAS FLEXIBLE IN CHANGES TO BID AND ESTIMATE.

Gary and crew were professional, clean and communicated well throughout the project. Allowance for cabinets was much higher than expected, but Gary did other tasks I wasn't charged for (doing dryer ductwork, hired cleaning company to clean house towards end of project, sand/finish of hardwood floors, cabinet hardware install). Project took 4 weeks longer than expected (total project time = 8 weeks) but this was partially due to the delivery of the granite countertops being delayed. Gary's craftsmanship, attention to detail, cleanliness and competitive bid for the job are several reasons why I would recommend him to anyone.

Gary was fabulous to work with. His bid came in the lowest of the 3 bids we got, and he didn't balk when we told him we would be doing much of the finishing work ourselves. He and his crew worked very quickly, and the project came in on time and on budget. The house looks fabulous.

GARY IS EXCELLENT AT HIS WORK AND GREAT TO WORK WITH. HE AND HIS TEAM DID A SUBURB JOB ON FINISHING THE GARAGE ON A TIMELY BASIS. HE IS VERY PROFESSIONAL, FRIENDLY, POLITE AND A DELIGHT TO WORK WITH. HE WAS VERY ATTENTIVE TO LAST MINUTE REQUESTS. HE WAS PROMPT AND MET ALL HIS COMMITMENTS TO US. HE DID A GREAT JOB OF CLEANING UP AFTER ALL THE WORK WAS DONE. OUR GARAGE LOOKS GREAT NOW! WE WILL USE HIM AGAIN ON OTHER REMODELING JOBS NEEDED IN 2006. HIS PRICE WAS VERY REASONABLE AND QUALITY OF WORK EXCELLENT.

GARY'S ETHICS AND WORKMANSHIP WERE UNQUESTIONABLE. HE WAS ALWAYS POLITE, ON TIME AND REASONABLY PRICED. GARY DID ALMOST ALL OF THE WORK HIMSELF. ON THE FEW OCCASIONS WHEN HE HIRED SUBCONTRACTORS, HE CHOSE VERY TRUSTWORTHY AND CAPABLE PEOPLE. I WAS IMPRESSED WITH GARY'S WORKMANSHIP AND BELIEVE HE EXCEEDED EXPECTATIONS IN THAT HE INCLUDED MISC. ITEMS (EXTRA LIGHT FIXTURES, FOR EXAMPLE) THAT I HADN'T PLANNED ON. I WILL DEFINITELY HIRE WINCEK CONSTRUCTION AGAIN FOR ADDITIONAL WORK. THIS IS A VERY WORTHWHILE, REPUTABLE COMPANY.

GARY WAS A DELIGHT TO WORK WITH. HE STUCK TO HIS SCHEDULE AND ANSWERED ALL MY CALLS PROMPTLY and POLITELY. I HAD OBTAINED 3-4 ESTIMATES BEFORE CONTRACTING OUT THE WORK TO GARY - HE WAS LEAST EXPENSIVE. (THE OTHERS WERE FROM ANGIE'S LIST).
