Have used Velocity Drain Services for many years for both emergency and preventative maintenance. They are always on-time, professional, and knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend contacting them!

Marcus did a great job. I had service within 2 hours of calling and it took him less than an hour to have my drain cleaned out. The 10% discount for seniors was much appreciated. The price was very fair. Will hire them for any additional plumbing needs I have.

They were knowledgeable and friendly. There were no issues scheduling with them and they showed up on time. The owner himself came out for the service.

That was fine and they ran the camera through. He snaked the camera down through and it showed up on the motor. Scheduling was good and I was here when they performed the services.

It turned out good. I have used them several times for other things. Nick was very friendly and very pleasant. He explained everything and I would use them again. They got the job done in about 90 minutes. The scheduling for the most part was good, but we did have to reschedule one appointment.

It was fine. They did a great job but my only complaint is that I think it was for a 2 inch blade and persons have told me that the 2 inch blade brings back the roots so we ended up paying extra to get the 4 inch blade. The biggest let down was that I was only paying for the 2 inch blade cleaning. I think they came out in late Fall and I ended up spending another $50 or $75 to upgrade to the 4 inch. But overall they were professional, did a good job, they were in and out and they were great.

Nick was great. Very professional and efficient. He did his work and set up the camera. Walked me through the line via camera and explained each issue that arose. Decided that no additional work was necessary. I had him look at a second drain. He explained how that drain worked and ultimately let me decide if I wanted the work performed, but suggested that the slow drain was simply because one of the parts was clogged. He cut the clog (mostly hardened soap scum) with a pocket knife and it was good to go. He could have easily convinced me there was a bigger issue and could have charged me another $100, but did not. Very, very happy with my service from Nick!

The technician was nice and professional, but I feel as though I didn’t get what I paid for. Specifically, the gentleman only used a two-inch blade when all sewer lines are 4 and 6 inches in diameter at certain points. What's more is that he told me he was only there to perform a video inspection when I advised him the deal was for an actual cleaning, and he never followed up with an invoice. Ultimately, I will not use this company in the future.

They were useful and cordial, but I was a bit surprised that what they were doing was just a test. They also fixed another problem they found.

That turned out well. I had them out a couple of times too. They were great all around. Andrew was the one who came out every time to me. They did the drain cleaning as well as suggested taking away the roots. I had another drain issue at a later date and they did that for me too.

It worked up very well. They showed me the pipe was clear using their video camera, so it was good.

Velocity retuned my call promptly and was able to schedule the work on fairly short notice. The owner was friendly, professional, and super easy to work with. His son Andrew came out to perform the work was great, working late to take care of a couple of minor issues that came up during the call. We couldn't be happier with the service we received and would definitely use them again.

Nick was young but very nice and knowledgable, did the 2" cutting of the sewer line to 100 feet then ran the camera with me watching as far as it would go. He said that the 100 year old line had problems but nothing that was critical - could be a problem down the road but the problem would declare itself. ||So I got some roots removed with a 2" cutter - I think that's the small cutter that allows the camera to go thru, the 4 and 6" cutters are for big blockages which we didnt seem to have - and some peace of mind that the line wasn't collapsing. Still don't know if the offer was geared towards creating more work or was about clearing the line

Came back for return to jet clean main line. Professional and explained everything well.

I bought the "big deal" on angie's list for drain cleaning with camera inspection. i should have read the details more carefully, it only included one pass with a 2 in cutter, most drains are 6 in. and would probably do well to have a 4 in cutter (at least) go through. I was a little disappointed with that, but if the deal is too good to be true, it probably is. The second pass would have been around $180 which I think is too high considering he was already there and in the past I've paid around $100 for the drain to be cleaned out--I'm not certain, but I assume with 2 passes. The guy was nice, professional, and efficient. He showed me the camera inspection of my main line and explained which cracks weren't worrisome and which might cause me problems over the long term (20 yrs or so).

Went great. Everything is working fine now. The tech arrive with in the time window, explained what he was going to do prior to starting, and got the job done in short order. He did say that my drain had remaining debris left in the line that would require a 6" cutting blade which was not part of this offer price. While I'm glad to have the information about the line, I was a little surprised to learn that a full clean out was not part of the package. I'll know more about what to ask next time. Otherwise I'm a very happy customer.

Andrew arrived during the window of time we had set up. He called when he was about 45 minutes away and confirmed that I was home and gave a more precise arrival time. He was very professional and friendly. We got an Angie's List coupon so the cost was very low for the whole thing! He had the video camera inspection equipment with him when he came into the house. After getting it set up, he showed me the line and talked about what I was looking at and explained what he was watching for that would have showed signs of trouble. After inspecting he got the clean-out equipment (cutter? auger? Not sure what to call it) and cleaned out the drain all the way to the street. The whole thing took about 30 minutes or so and we are very happy with the service we received. Our house is from 1930 so we need to be proactive and clean out the line on a regular basis... (the two times before this we had "emergency service") It was a much better experience to have the line cleaned out when there wasn't a mess! We will definitely call Velocity again when we need to do another clean out in a couple years.

I used them once and it was okay. We found out that there was a blockage in the part of the drain and they are afraid if they will try to unblock it, it would tear the snakes ups. They told us that if we have the driveway repair we have to fix that first.

I was present for the entire operation, which took about 30 minutes. The technician was friendly and forthcoming with information in response to my questions. Our home is 98 years old and it had been about 8 years since the last time I had the drain rodded. He talked me through every step of the process. The most helpful aspect was being able to watch the screen as he interpreted what we were seeing. The best news? The drain is in great shape after 98 years, thanks to the great quality work that was done in 1915! Although the standard mantra is to do a yearly power rodding of sewer lines, the technician said the same thing as the last time I had it done (by a different provider), namely "you can wait 8-10 years to do this again." As you see from my ratings, I was most pleased with every aspect of this work and now have someone I trust for the next service, or should a problem arises.

We were very pleased with the service from Velocity Drain. The team (2 guys) arrived punctually and performed the work with cleanliness and efficiency. Andrew is very knowledgeable and personable and explained the circumstances well. Overall an excellent experience. We will definitely be using them again.

Velocity was friendly, informative, generous and not pushy. They called ahead to let me know they were on the way. When the sewer cap broke in the process of opening it, they replaced it for free. They were very careful about not making any mess.

Andrew was very knowledgable and pleasant. He answered all my questions and explained carefully what I was seeing on the camera. I will use velocity the next time I want preventive service or have day more urgent need.

Everything went well. The drain was relatively clean, so they did not try to upsell me on unnecessary work, which I appreciate. Guys that did the work were pleasant and cleaned up after themselves.
