Well--Thomas did a good job. Unfortunately, we still have a small leak on the sink piping, which I am sure they will fix.

Great. Professional, Personable, explained everything.

They have never returned a call, never a established contact. I have left several frantic emails. I am hoping to have my money returned.

Did not know it was needed so I was happy it was pointed out

Everything went very smoothly. They removed my old furnace and installed a new high efficiency model. A few months later when I started using it, it was making a weird noise so I called and they came over the next day and fixed it in minutes. It was just a plug that was left on after installing that needed to be removed.

Once they finally contacted me the work preformed was good.

Haven't returned my calls. I have called them and emailed them at least 6 times. No return calls! Want my money BACK!!

We scheduled an appointment, they didn't show up. I called, they never called back or tried to reschedule.

The actual appointment last March was fantastic. The crew was friendly, polite, and went out of their way to educate me on a few things I'd asked about. However, the furnace tuneup was not included on the invoice they gave me. I need that to get the state's rebate on the service. Over the last month I've left multiple voice mails. No response. I've sent multiple emails. No response. I've had a conversation here on Angie's List in which Amanda promised she'd have the receipt to me but never followed through. I've messaged her again through Angie's List. No response. I'd left an earlier review of the work they did back in March and I gave them an A for that; however, because of this insulting lack of communication I am now leaving an F. I will not do business with them again, nor will I recommend them to anyone.

Provider does not answer their phone. Provider does not reply to voice mail. Apparently I may have wasted $49 on a business that might not actually exist.

Purchased plumbing visit for evaluate gas leak. Repair was done without calling to get approval and cost of repair and also explain what it was. Technician called with final price of $500 and lowered to $400 after complaining. Communication is the key and hopefully they learnt from it. Rated : B

Mike's was running a special on plumbing service calls through Angie's list where you had to pre-pay to get the advertised price, and also received a discount on subsequent plumbing repairs.. I made the advance purchase and was informed in my confirmation that the business would contact me within three days to schedule my service call. After a few hours passed and I had not yet heard anything, I emailed the business hoping to hear from them the next day. After no contact the following morning, I called the business and immediately got sent to voicemail. After three days of waiting, repeatedly emailing and calling a number that went straight to voicemail, I have given up. Your price was right but your service is dreadful. I had to call Angie's List to get a refund on my purchase.

Easton, our service technician, was punctual, honest, professional, and courteous - He asked if he should put covers over his shoes. He did not pander the tune-up service with potential problems that do not exist. How refreshing! A few days after the tune-up I called and left a message about a tune-up rebate program I participate in. I have had no response from Mike's. So, my one complaint, and it's a minor one, is poor communication after the service was performed. Of course, Mike's is under no obligation to return my phone call. Still, communication is key. It may seem insignificant, but it makes me hesitate to use Mike's for future projects and repairs.

Thomas was very professional in appearance, behavior and knowledgeable regarding his trade. He was on time and phoned when he was near. He wore shoe covers while he was in our home. I had him look at two other plumbing related issues we have and he explained what could be done, one at the time of the appointment and one possibly in the future. He went beyond the call of duty, fixing the kitchen faucet along with the leak under the sink, all parts replaced were new, and my sink no longer leaks and my faucet works perfectly. The $250 charged was after the $200 Angies List deal, for which I paid $111.00. I would definitely use this company for HVAC issues or installations again.

plumber went the extra mile to fix kitchen faucet. he was unable to snake the slow drain because of the way it was crammed into a small space when remodeling was done many years ago by previous owner. suggested and supplied a substance to clean drain over time. still waiting to see if it works, but have no reason to doubt that it will. he said kitchen drain system might eventually have to be completely re-done in the future. plumber also gave me a break on the total price after taking faucet apart and replacing cartridge. total cost above also includes $100 savings through angie's list.

Very professional job. Went the extra mile also fixing a kitchen plumbing problem and a furnace vent problem. Thomas and Easton were about the best two technicians we've ever had working on our home. Explained everything they did with enthusiasm answering all our dumb questions. Really felt like we were in good hands!

The process went very well. Thomas was excellent prompt, courteous and kept area clean. We had a problem because of a miscoded tank. Gerber told me it was a 1.28 gal. After making a few calls to Gerber I got someone that would go through all the numbers on the tank and finally was told it was a 1.60 gal as I had ordered.

We purchased an Angie's List coupon for $99, for $200 of plumbing services. We assumed that the $99 coupon would cover the replacement cost of the boiler drain valve. Well it didn't. The total service call was $565, minus the Angie's List coupon. Part of the $565 was a TRIP charge. No one ever paid us to drive to the job site. Just saying. We weren't at all happy about that. A word of advise, if you are going to have any plumbing done be sure to call for an estimate. Thomas came to do our job. He was punctual, neat and clean, personable, and cleaned up really good after he finished the job. He was awesome. We asked for an estimate for a another project that will need to be done in the future. Also, we asked him to estimated the cost of a new water heater.

Thomas did the work. He was punctual, informative and did great work. I am very happy with the new faucet and repair. When he gave me the first quote I was shocked. It's my understanding that they have a set price for the work. He gave me a significant discount for which I am grateful. He did not like the quality of the faucet I had purchased, he purchased one for me. I still believe the work was pricey but maybe that is because of the quality.

I purchased a Big Deal: $99 for $200 worth of plumbing. it turns out that Mike's has a set price list for each "service" and there was nothing that could be done for my $200 value ... not even the simple replacement of one bathroom sink faucet. My disappointment is my own fault since I wrongly assumed $200 worth of plumbing would cover about 2 hours of labor, but this company does not work that way. The person who came to do the work was polite but firm in the company's price list. Since we could not afford more than $700 that we would have owed had he done any work for us, he recommended we just cancel and ask Angie's List for a refund. I just got off the phone with a wonderful customer service representative at Angle's List (John), who assured me my $99 would be refunded. Therefore, my satisfaction with Angie's List remains high but my dissatisfaction with what seemed to me like deceptive pricing by Mike's Custom Mechanical has resulted in this overall grade of F.

Thomas showed up on time as scheduled. He was super pleasant, very polite and professional. He changed out the one toilet, and checked in with me, then did the other toilet. He did a great job, even using some matching caulk color on the vinyl tiles around the toilet. As an added note, a couple of days later one of the new toilets clogged and I couldn't plunge it to clear the clog. I called in the evening and left a message. They called me back right away in the morning, and Thomas came over right away, just adding me at the start of his day. He unclogged it within a few minutes. Not only did he come right away but also, he didnt charge me. That was above and beyond! I need another toilet re-installed (that was previously installed incorrectly by someone off Craigslist, never again!) and I will use Mike's again for that.

Showed up on time, asked what I would like done, got the parts and did the job. He seemed to enjoy what he is doing and was a pleasure to have doing the job. As expensive as plumbing repairs can get it was nice having someone as enthusiastic as Thomas to do the job.

Kitchen sink drain is clogged. Solution recommended was enzyme treatment. I paid for the product and have now been waiting a week for it to be delivered to my home. I have called and left at least 3 messages requesting this product. I have received no follow-up calls and no product. This is poor customer service.
