I was very satisfied with the work that was done. We had the entire exterior of our home painted. Jim, the owner of Coachman Painting, was the person who came to our home and wrote-up the quote. He was also one of the painters who did the work. He was very detail oriented, especially with the prep work (power washing, scraping, sanding, etc.). The painting itself was equally well preformed. Two coats of paint were applied to the entire house. They also did some light carpentry to repair some siding (time and material rate). There was never a day when the crew didn't show up. All the work was done, exactly as promised. They took great care to do no damage to our gardens, and cleaned up at the end of the job. I would recommend Coachman Painting without hesitation!

Jim came out to give us an estimate. We talked about powerwashing and scraping and how the paint would be applied. He was knowledgeable about the process and the impacts of the choices made. He made another trip or two after obtaining the work to help with the choice of paint colors. While he had another member of his team helping, he was always present and working. They did a good job using drop cloths to catch loose paint and debris. Since the job was completed, we have noticed no paints on light fixtures or doorknobs. I noticed they took down and reinstalled a number of the door knobs and locks and light fixtures to ensure a clean paint job. The exterior color chosen seems to be the right one for us. Jim did a great job matching two different colors for the interior staining. One was a whitewash, the other a wood stain with an sheen coat. Except for being in nicer shape, the new trim looks like it could have been original. I believe the work took about a week to complete and the results are great.
