Relocating, so we needed to put the house up for sale. Phoned another recommended interior painter and those folks were booked out until June. Phone Eclipse Painting and they were out to give a quote within a couple of days. During the walk through to detail out the work. The job consisted of two bedrooms, each with built in closets, a laundry room and touch-ups to the basement. The concern was how quickly the job could be started. The crew were booked for outside jobs and it was a rainy week, so it would be no problem to get the job done the next week. On that next Monday, the crew (4 guys, plus the owner) showed up right on time. The owner walked the guys through what needed to be done and where and the crew got right to work. Nothing needed to be moved, they would work around any obsticle and covered anything prior to painting.The crew completed all of the work at about 6 that evening. The next morning the exterior trim work was was completed by one single painter. Very quick, price was as quoted, the crew was effecient and the results were excellent. Time was of the essence and Eclipse Painting met the challenge. We even bought our paint through Eclipse Painting account (paid out of our pocket) and received a great discount at the paint store. Highly recommended.

Our experience with Lane the owner, and his crew, was exceptional. My wife and I are both perfectionists and from my 32 years in construction, I expect the best. The onsite crew led by Soloman was punctual, efficient and very agreeable to any of our requests. As happens occasionally, the original paint color that my wife and I had selected, once it was tested on the walls, did not turn out the way we had hoped. So I called Lane and he was more than willing to work with us while we quickly selected a different color at the paint store, while the crew shifted to trim and cabinets. In this second attempt, we did manage to get the color just right, with only a minor extension of time. We have also scheduled Eclipse for exterior painting work this spring. I would highly recommend Eclipse for any painting project as their quality of work is first rate. In fact I have already passed their name on to several of our friends for their future painting needs.

If you want the short version - this was one of the best experiences I've had with any work I've ever had done on my home. The long version: Lane, the owner, was the one who came out to do the estimate. He was right on time, thorough in his estimating and his estimate seemed right in line when compared to a few others I'd received from other companies. We ended up scheduling the job for the Monday through Wednesday before Thanksgiving (though he thought they may have to come back Friday to finish up). He and his crew showed up right at 8am on Monday morning, and after a quick review of the work to be done they were started. Once Lane was sure everything was headed in the right direction and I had no questions he left. I was a little nervous as I've had work done by other companies and once the main person left things fell apart quickly. Lane obviously trusts his team of painters, led by Soloman, to do the job even without him micromanaging them I'm happy to report that did not happen with the Eclipse Painting crew. They're great, they do fantastic work and they do it quickly. They had everything prepped and the basement popcorn ceilings completely scraped by the end of day one. Lane stopped by early on Tuesday to make sure everything was still headed in the right direction and was happy to answer any questions I had. He was hopeful the job might be finished by end of the day Wednesday but didn't want to promise anything. He then left to let his crew continue their great work. By the end of day two most everything had at least one coat, and some rooms already had two! Lane again stopped by Wednesday, and let me know the painting should be wrapped up by late Wednesday (6:30p - 7) and we scheduled a time for the following Monday to go over the work that was done and take care of any minor fixes. The painters somehow got the entire thing done by about 5pm on Wednesday. By them finishing it all before the holiday weekendit allowed us to get our house back in order and enjoy our newly painted spaces for the entire weekend! On Monday morning, again right at the scheduled 8am time, Lane and Soloman walked through the house and I pointed out a few spots we needed fixed. It was all completed by about 11am and we're left with a paint job that has exceeded my expectations!

Interior painting - basement and master bath

Painter arrived on time and was professional and pleasant. Worked full days weather permitting. Very thorough job. We are very pleased with results.

Overall we are happy with Eclipse. The house looks nice. We called and Lane came out to take a look and talk me through the process and pointed out things he saw on the house that needed to be fixed. He was booked out about 2 months at the time but it rained quite a bit this season and so we didn't hear from them until the end of August (we booked/sent deposit in June) at which point he was scheduling out to September. He told us to go pick out 2-3 house colors and 2-3 trim colors and call him at which point he came out and tested them on the house for us to see. His crew came out and started and were still there when I got home and they walked me to where they started to show me what it looked like. Even un-taped one of the windows so I could see the trim color against the house. Next day they came out and "finished" but were gone before I got home. I had to call to have them come out and paint the door because we had to be home while they did that and we noticed a few things that needed to be touched up which they were going to address when they came out to paint the door. I will say they missed a couple of things we pointed out when they came to paint the door and touch up but Lane sent them right back out the day I called and everything we showed them was fixed promptly. Overall I think they did a great job and our house looks beautiful!

Lane and his crew are good people and they do quality work! Very satisfied.

They did a great job showing up when they were supposed to for the estimate. They explained to me that it was going to be later in the month. However, one day three guys just showed up. I was not really ready for them. They were nice guys and worked very well. They said they were going to bring three shades for me to check out, but they only brought one. They painted the door red and I hated the color. I asked for tomato red and it was more purple. It was already an expensive job and they told me it would be more to get the color that I wanted. They painted over it with another color that I did not like. The paint was not sticking great and I tried to fix it as best as I could. Also, at the time I was working with a gutter company to replace my gutters. Eclipse Painting was supposed to contact them the day before work started so that they could take the gutters down. Also, after they have completed the job so they could put the new gutters on. I contacted the company to change the color of the door a week and a half ago and they still have not responded. I was told that they would come out and repaint the door, but they still have not after they promised to contact me this week and take care of the problem. Dealing with the painting crew was wonderful because they were really nice and professional, however dealing with the administration of this business was difficult and uncomfortable.

My home looks fantastic and it is very apparent Lane and my team of painters not only enjoy their work but have high standards in all aspects of the work they provide. My initial phone call was returned by Lane the same day and he provided a detailed written estimate two days later. I greatly appreciated Lane's willingness to answer my questions about patching two areas of stucco where a retaining wall had been attached to my home and in particular, his professional attitude and willingness to have my home painted within a 2 week time-frame due to getting our home on the market. He also brought paint samples to my home and returned a few days later with paint samples which he painted on the back of my house to help me select the final paint color. Other than 2 windows accidentally closed by the painters prior to being dry, the finished results and attention to detail were exceptional! Considering my 1950's home had been remodeled 5 years prior, including 12 transom and/or large windows, the two coats of paint blended the earlier re-dash textures beautifully with the original stucco; my home looks up-dated and lovely. One of the unexpected details was when I discovered the small rust spots on my five-foot iron railing were scraped, primed and repainted black along with the house numbers and mailbox slot. My bushes, plants and lawn were tied back or covered and the downspouts, vents or PVC pipes holding electrical wiring were carefully painted to match the house. When I called about the two windows painted closed, it was taken care of the next day. I'm very grateful and happy to refer Eclipse Painting!

Very professional in returning my phone call and explaining the reason for not accepting the job

From the moment Lane came during a snow storm I knew we had someone who believed in service. The team was great, professional and thought through the project. As it rained most days, the guys worked under eves and in the garage to get the job done on time. They did!

Based on reviews in Angie's List, I emailed Eclipse Painting. The owner Lane responded within a few hours and came to provide a bid. He walked me through all aspects of the bid, noting more specific tasks to be done. I got two other bids from highly rated painters. I chose Eclipse Painting because of the thoroughness and promptness of his bid process and good price. He also indicated that he had workers on each team who could repair any dry rot in the deck on the spot, which was efficient for me. The weather this spring has been awful but Lane kept me informed about the schedule. The work surpassed my expectations in all aspects. I was especially impressed with the prep work, knowing that is the secret to a durable job. The outside work was so thorough that I asked if they could do additional inside work, which they accommodated. I would recommend that anyone looking for a painter (inside or out) consult Eclipse Painting!

Lane showed up for the estimate on time and was very detailed. His crew was the same way on time and did great work. We love the new look of our house! Start to finish the project went off with out a hitch. I have already recommended lane and eclipse painting to family and friends.

Our decision came down to 2 companies, Eclipse and Bella Casa. These were the only 2 that came in with estimates that actually described doing the work that we really needed. Explained the real wood repair we knew was required and made us feel confident that they would do the job right. In the end it came down to price and timing, with Eclipse being a good deal less expensive (without being cheap and causing concern about cutting corners). We're extremely happy with all the work they did on our house. The wood trim is in really great shape and they even have the windows looking really good. There are only 2 concerns we have with the finished project: 1. Color matching on the house was off, the new color is a few shades darker than the old, we wanted the old color 2. There are a few places on the window sashes where you can clearly see rotary sander marks from the paint removal. On the whole though, the work they did was way beyond our expectations, they fixed a number of areas i was really not expecting, such as some bad trim boards under the soffits. Finally they did a great job cleaning up. When they left we didn't see paint chips all over and the mower didn't hit a single nail. I was impressed with this. I'd definitely recommend them to others.

All in all, very good. Lane did a thorough job of preparing the job description and estimate. I contacted him fairly late in the season, so it was a bit touch and go to get it in this fall, but he made it. The work was done by Oscar, who did a good job of letting me know when he was coming and going, what he had done, and so on. The only hitch was that Oscar wasn't aware that the garage was part of the job, for some reason, but I simply told him that was included in the plan, and he cheerfully tackled that, no argument. Glad to have that done before winter arrived, looks great, and I didn't have to get up on a long ladder to wrestle with all this stuff. All in all, very smooth, and I would definitely use them again.

I contacted Eclipse for a quote on a Friday - Lane emailed me back within a few hours and we set up a time to meet Monday morning. I was impressed by how quickly Lane responded and fit me in to take a look and provide an estimate. Lane was right on time and was able to give me an estimate of the work on the spot. He kept in contact with me and let me know when the crew would begin work which was about a week and a half later. His crew worked swiftly and did a great job. I wasn't able to be around when some of the work was being done and I had some questions which Lane promptly addressed and even came out to the house the following morning to follow up. Again, I was impressed by his responsiveness. We are pleased with the results and will would recommend Eclipse.

The crew worked very hard for the few days they were on site. They were very respectful and friendly - I appreciated their attention to detail and all of the painting looked great. I selected this company from the Angies list reviews and am happy that I did. At the end, Lane - the owner, performed a walkthrough with me, checking out the work and I didn't pay until all of the painting was complete and we were satisfied with the result.

They are very reasonably priced. They do a good job, they clean up after themselves, and are very friendly to work with. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

I was referred to Eclipse Painting by a friend when we decided to remodel our home. We scheduled an appointment for an estimate and at that meeting hired the company due to their attitude, promise of satisfaction (we are a bit picky with services performed at our home) and price. The crew that showed up was prompt and very courtious. The were very easy to work with and kept their job areas clean each night when they left. I was very impressed with the quality of the work inside and out. I made a few changes along the way and they were very accommodating. The owner of the company personally stopped by when the project was finished to make sure that we were satisfied with the job. We love the new look of the house and are very happy with our decision to hire Eclipse Painting.

We had a lot of peeling around the windows and the facia. The job was difficult because we have hills and hard places to get to. They hand scraped, sanded and than primed all of the bare spots. They were very thorough in the service because, I would check their work at the end of the day. The employees were really responsive and took care of everything. There was no messes because they always cleaned up. In fact, I didn't even find a drip. The colors matched very well to the existing siding. They helped me pick the colors and there was many options that they showed me at my house. They also used a very good product. It has been nearly a year and it still looks new, no peeling. I was impressed.In my living room they painted it suede. I had never heard of this product or style before. I liked the sample I was shown and decided to go with it. The results were fabulous and I get compliments all the time. My friends ask me who painted it for me.
