I have had Eclipse paint the exterior of my shop twice in my 16 years of business. Never have I experience such attention to detail. The prep work alone made the building look better. Lane and his crew were top-notch professionals and I plan on hiring them again in another 5 years to paint it again.

The entire experience was excellent. We first contacted Eclipse Painting, along with 3 other companies for bids, in 2012 regarding painting the exterior of our house and garage. At that time, we were going to go with Lane and Eclipse Painting. His bid was reasonable and he also agreed to repair and/or replace damaged or severely weathered siding and trim. Due to higher priority projects, we decided to put off the painting. In early 2016, exterior painting moved up to our top priority. We contacted Lane again. He remembered us after 4 years, even though we cancelled our painting plans in 2012. He came over and listened to what we wanted to accomplish. He was very helpful and explained what we could expect. Again, he agreed for his company to replace and/or repair damaged siding and trim on both the house and garage. We knew what we wanted for colors, but not the specific tone of those colors. He offered to help with selection in addition to painting samples on the house, to give us a visual on what to expect. His bid was very reasonable for the scope of the project. He followed through with his promise and came over multiple times to paint various specific colors on the house for us to see how they might look. We were also installing new front and rear entry doors and he worked with us in scheduling the painting to meet our schedule with the door installations. We were fortunate in that he was able to schedule the painting shortly after the doors were installed. He kept us informed and was responsive to our emails prior to the project. The painting (and deck oiling) took about 3 days. They started on a Thursday and finished Monday (taking Saturday and Sunday off). The process went smoothly. The crew was pleasant and cleaned up each day. They listened to concerns we had and addressed them immediately. We decided to make a small color change at the last minute to some posts that had not yet been painted. They were able to accommodate us with no problem. Our house is over 60 years old and was probably last painted by the previous owner more than 15 years ago. There were multiple areas needing replacing, repair or special attention (extra scraping and sanding) including the siding and trim. The house and garage both almost look brand new. We have had multiple positive comments from neighbors and guests about how great the house looks. We would recommend Lane and Eclipse Painting to anyone wanting to paint their house with no hesitation.

After having our house painted many times over the years, this is by far the best experience we have ever had. Lane and his crew started when they said they would which was important because we had a party coming up. They did an amazing job of preparation and cleaned up the work site every day. Lane helped us figure out an up to date color combination that transformed our home.We couldn't be happier and will definitely use Eclipse Painting in the future! Our house looks Great!

We had a great experience with this company. It all started with Kathy setting up the date-she's awesome. Then Lane helping us choose a new color for the trim which had to coordinate with the stone on our house. He has such an amazing eye for color and balance, it was perfect. We have had many compliments to the color combo. Crew was efficient and respectful. They cleaned up afterwards, never would have known they were there. Lane had checked in during the job and again upon completion. We are very happy with the results!!!

All went well. Luis did a great job on the carpentry (garage - siding, house - fascia), and the house looks amazing. Feel like I have a brand new house and garage! Lane was very helpful/knowledgeable in picking colors that would make the house stand out. He made a couple of visits during the work to make sure everything was done to my satisfaction. At the end of the job, we inspected the work together and the necessary touch ups were made immediately. This was a big job- a lot of sanding, carpentry. Job well done, Eclipse Painting.

We had Eclipse Painting out to stain our house. First the pressure washer was sloppy and dirty windows and fascia. Crew left our house thinking they were done with the staining the house and left a bill by several stains on the cement, cigarette buds, foliage trampled, lot of debris on siding, blue tape all around house & grass, burned hole in grass where they cleaned their brushes (hazard waste), razor blade by the front door and two more were found the third time they were out after we asked to come back for clean up (we are concerned there might be more razor blades we didn't find ourselves!) !

their crew came in and prepped the wood on our house. they missed some areas so we told them and they fixed it. they painted our entire outside of our wood (cedar) house. they missed some areas here too so we told them and they fixed it. the owner walked through at the end with us and they touched up anything we were concerned about.

Lane and his crew did a very thorough and wonderful work with the painting of the exterior of our house. Prompt, courteous and efficient service. The crew did a great job touching up surfaces that needed more paint and left the area clean. Very satisfied and would recommend them to anyone.

Kathy was great, unfortunately they wouldn't be able to get to our home to paint it until October which didn't fit in our timeline

I had a very tight window to paint and stain my house interior and exterior and had a bad experience with another painting service. The owner of Eclipse painting personally came out to the house and walked the property. Mr. Underdahl was very informative and professional and gave me a fair price and didn't charge me to fix the mistakes that the other painters had made. He supervised the work, as I was on a time sensitive schedule, and made sure the work was completed onetime and as discussed. The painters went beyond the call of duty to prevent spills and to ensure accuracy and cleaned up after themselves leaving the property free of debre and paint remnants. Could not have been happier with their service!

Fantastic experience working with Eclipse! I had some follow up questions after the bid and Lane was attentive and would contact me back within a timely manner if needed. We were hesitant on a color and Lane provided insight upon request; his suggestion was better than we expected!! Very knowledgeable and easy to work with. The crew was very professional, timely and neat! We are very thrilled with the outcome and have already referred Eclipse to a coworker and a bid is already scheduled. So happy!!

The service provided by Eclipse Painting was superior. I love the colors! They worked around my schedule and met my needs as a consumer. This was my first time hiring an outside company to paint for me. They are the only company who will be doing any painting on my property in the future!

Well I got a couple of estimates and found out this company match the job the best. Very organized and professional loved the way they cleaned up after each day. I like there work great job guys and thanks Lane for everything.

The painting was fine, but the staining of the porch and deck has problems. I advised him of the issues I found in the summer of 2014 and he came back and attempted to correct these problems. By the end of August 2014, the deck was having the same problems and it was a mess. I contacted him in August 2014 and he agreed there were still problems and to come out and fix it in spring of 2015. I wanted to withhold partial payment. In the spring of 2014 when I initially contacted him, he broke up the price to completely stain the deck and porch and to paint the house. However, the charge for the deck was to completely stain the deck. There was a warranty on all the work that he gave me in writing and it went out to July 2015. I again notified him about this problems with the deck and porch at the beginning of May 2015. I contacted him twice in the summer about these issues, prior to making the full payment in 2014. He assured me that if I made the full payment in the fall of 2014, which I was going to withhold until he repaired it, that he would come back out to fix it spring 2015. I did make this payment on time and he still will not come and fix it. He asked for 2-3 more weeks as he was going to bring a Cabot representative before he fixed it. I did not hear from him and I contacted him again. He says that only agreed to patch up places on the deck and this is not true. He still will not respond to the porch issues. All of the issues are sun-facing issues. Now, it is spring time and the stain on my deck and the porch facing the sun is not holding. He left me a message May 7, 2015 and says "it was a mess when i started and it is still a mess and I only agreed to patch up the deck, so I will refund you your money for the deck and that's all I can do." He changed his story, saying he was only supposed to repair a part of it and not the entire thing. I am very unhappy with this service and this contradicts the warranty agreement he made in 2014.

It went pretty good. I had to touch up a couple of spots. They were very polite and nice. I have had to have them come back out a couple of time to touch some things up but they did a good job.

They did a fine job. The guy who came out was great, very business like and he does a great job.

It turned out very well. They were excellent. They showed up on time and did a good job. They were not messy at all. They finished quickly. There were no problems at all.

Bid was a reasonable price. Sample colors painted on house and came back a second time with a few more samples so I got the color I wanted. There was a miscommunation on my part regarding window trim but it was corrected with no problem. I am pleased with the results and would recommend hiring Eclipse Painting.

Crew showed up unexpectedly on Labor Day mid morning. Luckily we were not entertaining. They finished painting in 1 1/2 days doing what appeared to be minimal sanding so we have many rough spots. We have a 1960 home and know it won't be perfect but thought it would be not so noticeable. On the last day the crew leader asked me to review the work and it was getting dark so difficult to to really see the work. The next day is when I saw unfilled nail holes and what appeared to be scrapping but no sanding. I called and two of the crew came out and spent a couple of hours in one area that was the worse. That area looks much better. There are less noticeable areas we plan to leave and hope there is no peeling The price was the lowest of my 3 bids and now I know why. This was the first time we had a house painted and maybe expectations of the outcome were too high.

When Lane came out and gave a bid, he answered all questions and helped to guide us with colors. When we had narrowed it down to 2 colors, he painted both on our house to help us make a final decision. Over the course of 3 days the crew sanded and scraped and painted the exterior of our 1 1/2 story home. Prior to them beginning their work we had a bad case of peeling stucco. If you have stucco that is not painted, I would suggest keeping it that way. They worked well and did a good job. There was a miscommunication about the crew needing access to electricity and were left waiting a long time the first day as no one was home, which was regrettable. We had better communication on the 2nd and 3rd days. The crew worked quickly and was able to wrap things up on the morning of the 3rd day. The nail holes were not all filled in, which is a bummer because if I would have known I would have done that prior to them doing the work. We have had them come out on 2 separate occasions since to do some touch ups and they were very nice about it and reassuring that they would address any future concerns. This is a good company that stands behind their work and they want their customers to be satisfied with the work that they do. All of our interactions with Lane and the crew have been very professional.

Our house had not been stained for years and the siding was really dried out. We got a few estimates to have the house re-stained and chose Eclipse Painting because their price was reasonable, the owner, Lane, was extremely knowledgeable, and their services included more than just staining and painting. They pressure washed the exterior, replaced boards that were cracked beyond repair, patched and caulked before painting. The crew also painted the gutters to match. The crew was prompt, worked long hours, worked quickly and efficiently, have great attention to detail, and were polite and respectful. They cleaned up every night after they were done and left our house very clean. They even installed our new house lights, put the furniture back on our deck and cleaned it. Our house looks amazing now! It went from dark and dingy to a clean and rich color. We are so please with the work that they did and will always recommend them and use them again for future projects.

Extremely satisfied - great experience - the project turned out even better than I could have imagined! Lane from Eclipse stopped by before the project and helped me pick out a beautiful creamy tan "stucco" color and trim color for my 1 1/2 story bungalow. (It had been quickly painted years ago when I bought the house, so I was kind of stuck with a flaking, poorly painted house before.) I was really worried about my ability to get a good color scheme, but Lane helped with that, based on my feedback and some examples I shared. I get so many compliments on the house now that it's completed. From beginning to end, communication was excellent, and the estimates for stucco painting and trim were very reasonable. I had several estimates last spring, but it was clear that Eclipse was more familiar with dealing with stucco/masonry, and they quoted a fair price and flexed when I had to have them do more trim painting on the house. ( I hurt my back right before they started painting, so I had them do a second quote for the extra trim work and details that I was not going to be able to do myself. ) The crew stayed a few extra days to help get the extra work done. They were polite, professional, clearly knew what they were doing, cleaned up every night before leaving, and communicated well. I bought them some pizzas after one especially long day, I was so thankful. I also noted that they use high quality paint that's made for stucco/masonry. And the old (cedar) trim now looks fantastic. I can tell this will hold up to the Minnesota weather and be beautiful for years. Very happy to have Eclipse do the work and would definitely hire them again.

They did a very nice job. I had several bids and selected Eclipse because I liked the amount of detail they provided when quoting the job. I had lots peeling paint, in some places down to the bare siding. They did an excellent job of scraping and priming, so the finished job looks very uniform. There was a fair amount of rot, and the carpentry work was well done. The crew was punctual and polite and left the job very clean.

We have nothing but praise for Eclipse, the supervisor of the crew, and the crew itself. Crew and supervisor were very responsive, punctual, neat. There were many layers of tough paint on this house, and the final result is fantastic. Crew worked very hard for long hours to get project done as quickly as possible. We booked them in January for work that began in May.

From start to finish, the service was exceptional: - honored an expired quote from last year - minor repairs, replacing some rotted wood and siding pieces - offered input on color change - washed, scraped, primed, 2 coats of paint, all completed in three days - painted the garage door, front storm door, and front entry door to match new house colors - punctual, showed up when expected, left behind no mess Lane was reachable during the whole project, via phone or email. I simply can't think of any way to improve the experience.
