Description of Work: Contact was hit or miss via answering machine, but once made it was good. Estimate reasonable. I provided the fabric. Work was completed very quickly - a week before I expected.

+ 0 moreMet with Kevin. Very professional. Offered several options that I could take. Provided samples of materials and interior padding. Provided reasonable estimated of costs when materials samples were chosen and a final material selected. Asked for down payment that I thought was much less than expected -- I paid him 1/3. Provided me a date for completed work that was acceptable. Due to holidays, he was one day over -- not a problem for us but he was very apologetic about it. Workmanship was very well done. Could not be happier with the final product. Good reference.
Description of Work: Reupholstered 5 dinette chair cushions and e bar chair cushions and backs.

Overall I'm very pleased with the finished products and found Kevin to be very helpful and professional during the process. I will return when I have more upholstering or furniture repair needs and highly recommend XPERT Upholstery to others.
Description of Work: He reupholstered two sofas and a Victorian chair. He also created custom seat cushions and pillows. One of the sofas benefited from new springs and general repairs and the antique chair was completely reglued and is now sturdy for daily use again. Kevin even obtained replacement front leg wheels for the antique chair from a contact he knows in SD.

Description of Work: Called Kevin, was trying to decide if I should repair and reupholster my recliner vs buying new. Kevin was very honest and told me it would likely cost more to repair and upholster than buying new. Appreciated the honesty.

+ -1 moreThis was our second experience with Xpert Upholstery and Repair. We found Kevin (Xpert Upholstery and Repair) in the phone book initially. The first (previous) job was a set of dining room chairs that were in disrepair. The legs were getting loose from the stretchers and a couple had cracks in the leg anchors on the underside of the seat. Kevin fixed all of them for a very reasonable price, and the repair was of very high quality. So this current repair was to one of the chairs that had fallen from on top of the table (up there during floor cleaning) and needed the stretcher re-glued. My wife and I also bought two bar stools for a very inexpensive price at Target...the problem was that they were bar height and not countertop height...so Kevin cut 3" off of each of the legs of the stools. The repair of the chair and the reworking of the stools were of very high quality. All of the stool legs were level and Kevin even glued felt pads to the bases of the stools for protection of our hard wood floors. I would recommend him to anyone.
