The company cannot repair what it sells to consumers. We were sold a service warranty on a washer/dryer unit we purchased from the company. The company sent a repair service out to work on the washer/dryer unit but the service man could not repair it despite working on several times. We waited over a month for parts and for service work. The company cannot repair what it sells to consumers and I definitely recommend against doing any business with them.

On the agreed to delivery date they showed up with the appliances. The delivery crew (wonderful guys) wouldn't bring in the range or refrigerator because they had apparently been dropped and damaged. They brought replacements the next day. My contractor was very gracious in rearranging his plans to accommodate the new delivery date. The range hood was the wrong size, and the salesman blamed me for the error. (Wrong on both counts. I did not specify the wrong hood, and he shouldn't blame me for any errors.) It took almost a month to receive the correct hood. They also charged me $100 for the pleasure of the error, calling it a restocking charge. I had to initiate calls once or twice a week to find out what was happening, as they never called back "tomorrow" with an update. When answering the phone, the salesmen never knew the status and had to call me back. They'd call back within and hour with an uncertain status and promise to call me "tomorrow" after he talked to someone somewhere. At least the gal who answered the phone and routed the call was pleasant and did remember my story each time. The final insult was when one of the rebates was rejected because the rebate had expired the day before we purchased the appliance. That would be a salesman error. That said, none of the other rebate checks have arrived, so there may be more problems looming. We love the appliances, but the experience will direct us to a different dealer next time. My biggest error was not reviewing Angie's list before purchasing the appliances. Apparently my experience is not unusual.
Description of Work: In January we ordered four appliances from WS for our kitchen remodel. Range, dishwasher, refrigerator and range hood. Their prices were about the same as other appliance dealers in town.

We are doing a kitchen remodel. I had spoken to sales people multiple times about appliances. When I finally ordered appliance I was told that all four appliances that I ordered were in the warehouse and told that they would deliver and install on a specific date. Two days before the date I called to ask if it would be possible to deliver one business day later. The response was "sure, we'll have everything except the double oven". When questioned on what had happened to my item that was in the warehouse 6 weeks ago, their response was "I don't know". There has been NO contact other than when I have initiated it. They had said that they would have the item in one week. After calling one day to ask the status of the item, they said that they would check on it and call me right back They never called back. I called the next day to have them tell me that it would probably be several weeks yet, and the response was "we feel as bad about this as you do". My response was that I really didn't think that they did.To be fair, the delivery people who delivered the three appliances were wonderful. They were courteous and did a great job.
Description of Work: I ordered 4 appliances from them six weeks before they were to be delivered and installed. I have three of the four.

They were superb, timely and professional. They worked hard but didn't rush. When the inevitable little glitches came up they were good at solving them and we couldn't have been more pleased. I will use them again in the future.
