 + -1 moreMy laser printer was making a horrible noise. Derek stopped by to troubleshoot the problem.. He thought it was one of the motors. Then, before ordering, he indicated that he needed to check something again with he printer - which resulted in another 1-week delay, After the second visit it took me 7 minutes to locate a troubleshooting guide and another minute to confirm the problem - the imaging drum (a consumable) was responsible for the noise. Derek was friendly, responsive, flexible (he met me on a Saturday), and professional. However, my reasons to hire a tech doctor is to expect a correct diagnosis. An expert could have walked me through the troubleshooting in 5 minutes, and I could have had this printer up and running weeks ago. I might give them another chance to assist me, but will explicitly expect for him to do more homework - and not on my dime.
Description of Work: Help troubleshoot printer problem. Misdiagnosed the problem and delayed the repair process - then asked for $30 payment (which I paid).
