Ronningen Roofing

We needed our roof inspected for weather damage. So we called and got told someone would be there within a week but he didn't want to come 40 mins away unless he had another call but he would be out within a week. We waited till the beginning of the next week and he never showed up so we called and he said he meant 7 days not a work week but he would be out the next day. We waited around all day for him to just not show up. Then we called just after 5 o'clock that day to see if he was coming or not and he never answered or called us back. Then we called the next day and he never answered or called back. Just would have been nice to know what was going on and would be nice if he would have come out when he said he would. Very disappointed!!!

They sent out a crew to check the next day. The guys that came out were on time and very courteous (asked if they should remove shoes which I greatly appreciated). They suggested that the window seal was leaking and use a silicone sealant. If it doesn't work replace. We plan to take their advice. I called based on Angie's List reviews and was not disappointed. I would highly recommend getting an estimate from them. I cannot say anything on work completed yet but I will be calling them again if our DIY repairs don't work.

Roofers were there early and stayed late. They ended up having to return the next day to finish up. One negative was things weren't 100% cleaned up after they were done. One being furniture they moved off of my deck was not put back. Overall that was minor and they did a great job on the roof.

The installation went well, and the foreman, Jacob, did a good job. When I later called the owner, Eric Ronningen, and asked about a written warranty which I promptly received at no charge (apparently CertainTeed would like to charge $60 for the warranty, but I paid nothing). Something that the roofer could have done was to tell me that I would need a full size example of one of the failed shingles in order to submit a claim, however all of the removed shingles were hauled off. Luckily the insurance claim checker was able to furnish me copies of his photographs of the failed shingles, which allowed be to collect over $1000 from the manufacturer.

Greg,the foreman, reported that everything had been taken care of, and the guards did look much better. However, when I was up on the roof this spring (2013) I noticed that the guards were uneven, had openings between the sections that would let leaves in, had been installed in two different configurations (some with one end under the shingles, and some with both ends in the gutter), and at least one end wasn't plugged to keep birds out. See next review for evaluation of correction of the problems.

It was getting late in the year and I was running out of time to get my shingles on my new wood shop I had built. I called Eric (owner) of Ronningen Roofing and he worked me into his schedule on a short notice. It was a rainly period which put the crew behind, however his crew worked hard to catch up and got my roof on right before it started to rain again. They did a excellent job and were very careful not to damage the shingles as they worked being it was a steep roof (12/12 pitch) and difficult to shingle. I would recommend Ronningen Roofing to anyone. The quality was great and price was very competitive.

The service was excellent, both in assessing options for materials as well as in executing the work. I have a great deal of confidence in the quality of the work and the integrity of the business owner and managment.

Well The company came on the designated date and the work took the length of time the owner expected. The work was all done as they had been hired for and at the cost noted in the estimate. Please note that on Angie's List this roofing company comes up twice--once with the name of the company and the name of the owner (which are very similar).

They did a really good job. Everything they said they were going to do, they did. There were zero problems.

It went well. They were very competent, did good work in a short amount of time and finished the project in one day. They did a very nice job cleaning up. I think it was cleaner around our house after they did the job than when they started.

We decided to hold off on the new roof until we didn't use them. In terms of being on time and giving a thorough and detailed quote, they were very professional and did great.
