Description of Work: We bought a new vacuum. Wonderful guidance on choices. We had a great experience. Not a 'shiny showroom '...but that is overshadowed by the service.

+ -1 moreStepping into Rochester Appliance and Service is like slipping back in time. Like one of those full service gas stations that were on almost every corner. Like those gas stations, the shop is a little messy and the workers probably won't be seen on a GQ spread any time soon.... However, we have found the people to be honest and reliable. They have told us when it was not worth the money to fix something and also when the problem with a broken vacuum was so trivial they only charged a minimal fee (when they could have charged more as we wouldn't have known the difference). I recently bought an upright and a canister vacuum from them and love them both. He took the time to explain each vacuum and even showed me how to do simple repairs on my own. If you can get past a little clutter and have a few minutes to wait while they explain things in detail to other people as well, I recommend this business for service and repairs of small appliances. And if you are looking for a great vacuum without a lot of bells and whistles, they have those too.
Description of Work: I recently bought 2 vacuums from them. Prior to that, we have also had several small appliances repaired at this business.
