We have been completely happy and satisfied with his plumbing work on several jobs.

The garage floor drain was completely clogged. He got into it and cleared the mess. Our daughter left the garage door open one very cold day and the pipe to the garage faucet cracked and was spraying. He fixed it. I really don't recall what he was paid, but I wasn't displeased by his charges.

Mr. Pfeffer came in, fixed the leaking pipe and recommended another pipe fitting be replaced also as it was similar and would most likely cause a leak in the future. Was on time and reasonably priced. Did the job well. He wasn't very friendly/personable, came in did job, left.

Mike was willing to come after hours to diagnose a leaky tub and shower. I had water accumulating at the baseboard with no visible reason for the leak. Mike took apart the shower valve, inspected behind the wall for any water accumulation and then resealed the valve. Problem solved!

He came right away after ensuring he was good with another customer. He is the little company of himself and his wife. That was enough for me to pick him. He cost 30 dollars less than the big franchise. I spent that savings on my kids supper and a gift.

I had 3 plumbers give me an estimate and two of them never called back, but 1st Class did and I was glad they did the work. Very professional, punctual, and knowledgeable. Cleaned up well when they were done.

I moved into a house Feb '09. The hot water heater didn't work, which was no big deal to me because I didn't cook and showered at a local gym. I decide last fall I want to see if it can be fixed or do I need to replace it. Someone named Mike comes out. He pushes a button on the heater. Tells me to call back. Me being busy, I forget to do so until later. He calls me. The water heater still wasn't working. I tell him I don't want to do anything. He sends me a bill for $82, even though I told him I don't want to pursue action. I assume it was a mistake and forgot about it. In Dec'09 he calls asking me for the money, even though I told him I don't want to do anything. All he did was push a button. He wasn't even there five minutes. Now it's gone to collections. $82 for five minutes of "work"? I wish I had that kind of pay.

Called on Friday -- Mike came out for an estimate on Saturday and the work was performed on Monday! Great service. He took his time and did the job correctly . . . even though the job took longer than expected, the price did not increase. We even asked Mike to give us a quote on some work finishing our basement.

No problems. In and out in less than an hour.

Mike Pfeffer is responsive and professional in his service. He is careful to avoid tracking mud into the house and is willing to fix minor things that he encounters while working on other things.
