Med City Builders

I bought a new construction home near Lansing MN from Med City Builders on March 27th 2009. Andy Cummings who owns Med City Builders was also my realtor (Remax). During the spring of 2017 I was notified by Mower County that our community septic system was inspected and deemed non-compliant. I came to learn the system was built incorrectly and could not be brought into compliance. I obtained documents which showed Andy Cummings was denied a zoning permit, partially due to the septic system. Andy received these documents early on in the home build, yet he proceeded to sell me the home. Andy did not construct the existing septic system, but he had knowledge of it's status. He also failed to provide a septic disclosure which would have revealed the problem to me. I am now forced to have a mound septic system constructed which will cost me $20,000. This was preventable, however Andy Cummings failed to protect his client and only looked out for his own personal interests. Andy Cummings was notified of this situation by letter in October 2017, however he failed to respond. I am currently working with an attorney to remedy the situation.
