My 1962 MGA had been in storage for about four years while I was in and out of hospital. When I finally took it out of storage, it ran very badly and I had to get it towed to Rochester by AAA. I noticed that the sign for Labelle Auto LLC featured an MGA that was virtually identical to my car, so they seemed to be a good place to go. This was a very fortunate choice. I was a little hesitant to take my classic to a mechanic under age 40, as I did not expect him to have ever worked on a carburetor, let alone know how to adjust and synchronize the dual SU side-drafts on my MGA, but he did a great job, and it now runs better than it ever has. It has exceeded my expectations by leaving a Porche (well, a 1950's Porche) in the dust! He clearly knows his classic cars, and could find all the needed replacement parts. I have been back to see him several times, and as listed above he has also resolved a number of other nagging problems. I am very happy with his service, and plan to use him for all my maintenance..
Description of Work: Rebuilt and synchronized carburetors, made multiple electronics systems repairs, replaced tire tubes, repaired brakes, replaced radiator, removed cylinder head for installation of hardened valve seats so vehicle can run on unleaded fuel, replaced fuel pump, diagnosed and replaced ignition coil (which previously would die after 30 min. of driving).
