Description of Work: My husband and I appreciated Dan Groteboer's low key manner in dealing with us. However, he went above and beyond in working on selling our home. First, he listened to us and set the price accordingly. Then, he gave us practical advice on what we needed to do to get our home in good condition for putting it on the market. Our home sold before it actually hit the MLS listing

In addition, we were privy to Melissa's efforts to market the properties of her selling clients. She exhibits good skills and creative marketing strategies. I would use her to sell our house if we decide to build in the future. Finally, Melissa exhibits none of the negative, stereotypical attributes of a successful real estate agent. She is personable, down to earth, low key, and seems genuinely interested in people.
Description of Work: Melissa Halleland worked with my wife and me for a six-month period providing excellent advice, good footwork, innovative suggestions, pertinent local knowledge and diligent follow-up services in connection with finding a suitable residence. We presented a difficult set of changing parameters due to our having an out-of-state residence that remained unsold due to the local market. Melissa initiated efforts to assist our sale of that property. In Rochester, she was patient through negotiations on three separate properties, providing cheerful support and negotiating acumen.
