Tom May came out later on the day that I called, he was between jobs and in the area, and gave us a bid. I got another bid from Eastside Services, they were much higher and didn't seem as prompt with the responses.
I told Tom, via texting, to go ahead with the job, and that I wasn't in a rush. The next day, as he indicated, he was able to pick up 1/4 of the pile. Then over the next few days (I wasn't in a rush and he was picking up between other jobs and as he had spare time) he picked up three more loads. On the last day, he did an EXCELLENT job of clean-up (rake, etc) to get the smaller pieces.
I paid him before the last trip for clean-up, and he still came back for the clean-up!
