 + 1 moreTom May came out later on the day that I called, he was between jobs and in the area, and gave us a bid. I got another bid from Eastside Services, they were much higher and didn't seem as prompt with the responses. I told Tom, via texting, to go ahead with the job, and that I wasn't in a rush. The next day, as he indicated, he was able to pick up 1/4 of the pile. Then over the next few days (I wasn't in a rush and he was picking up between other jobs and as he had spare time) he picked up three more loads. On the last day, he did an EXCELLENT job of clean-up (rake, etc) to get the smaller pieces. I paid him before the last trip for clean-up, and he still came back for the clean-up! Description of Work: I removed 4,000 square feet of brush, mostly buckthorn, that I stacked on an empty lot adjacent to my property. I had a large pile of approximately 30' long by 7' high by 6' wide that I wanted removed (too much to casually burn or get in one or two pickup truck loads - I'd have to borrow a truck if I went that route anyway). I called for a bid to have it hauled away (probably to local brush processing center).
