Description of Work: Came to check on the furnace/a-c blower motor. Found it was going out. Ordered a new blower motor, came out when it arrived, installed it checked everything and left.

Description of Work: I had called Matt as the blower in my Furnace-A/C wasn't working. It was determined that the capacitor for the blower motor had failed and it was replaced. One week later, the blower motor was, again, not working. This time, it was determined that the motor had failed. Matt gave me a price for a replacement motor as well as quotes on two new Furnace and A/C system packages as my existing system was 18-years old. After looking at the cost of replacing the blower motor and the age of the units, I decided to remove and replace both the Furnace and the old A/C. Matt took off the charges for the capacitor and service call. Matt and his assistant, Nate, arrived at 8:00 AM on Thursday and within one hour had removed the old Furnace and interior A/C evaporator coil. By noon time, they were ready to fabricate the needed changes in the duct system. At the end of Thursday, they had completely installed the new high efficiency furnace and new A/C evaporator coil plus all of the necessary PVC piping needed to bring in fresh air from the outside and power vent the exhaust gas outside. Friday, Matt and Nate arrived at 8:00 and did a test-fire of the Furnace to burn off all of the protective coating on the heat exchanger in the furnace. While this was in progress, they worked outside on the new A/C compressor unit. They put in a new base pad, leveled everything, installed the new compressor unit and purged the lines. Once this had been accomplished, they charged the lines with nitrogen to check for leaks. After a leak check, they evacuated the lines and then charged them with the proper refrigerant. Once everything was ready, they ran the A/C, as the outside temperature was 92 degrees. All trash, debris and old parts were cleaned up and hauled away. Other than the new Furnace unit being a bit larger than the old, you would not know that anybody had been in the furnace room. The new Furnace unit is much quieter than the old and with the variable blower, more efficient. The outside A/C compressor unit is remarkably quieter than the old unit -- which had "critters" living inside.

Description of Work: They replaced four vent fans and some duct work in my bathroom.
