Ace Midwest Moving & Storage

2-person crew with truck moved large items (during winter) in a little over 5 hours.  Both crew members were very polite, prompt, and took care not to ding or scratch the walls.  This was my second time using Ace for a local move.  They provided good service at a resonable cost and it was very easy to schedule service.  One phone call to the local owner and a confirmation call verifying the date ahead of time is all it took. 
Be prepared to pay with cash or check immediately when the move is done.  Mover does not take cc.

I hired Ace Worldwide to move my furniture from my old house to my new house (I moved to another house in the same city).  The movers were supposed to arrive at 8:30 am because I had to close on my house at 9:00 am.  The movers did not show up on time because they were still unloading a truck so I ended up being late for my closing.  I walked the movers through my house and told them what I wanted them to take.  The movers forgot to take the glass top to my kitchen table and hardware to put my bed back together.  The movers also broke a desk (beyond repair) and didn't offer any discount because of it.  The price was reasonable and they offered a good discount due to my employer.  However, the broken desk and personal trip I had to take to get the glass top off-set any discount that I received.
