About us

Sarah’s photographic journey began at The College of Visual Arts, where she majored in photography, and graduated with a BFA degree in 2005. With an ever-present dream of becoming a professional photographer, Sarah jumped right into the photo community after college, working for different companies around the twin cities. While living in Stillwater, MN Sarah accepted a position with the company Celebrity Kids in Woodbury and became an established photographer. She instantly fell in love with the kids and families, and found family portraiture to be extremely rewarding. In 2008, Sarah became a mother, and decided that it was time to go back to her original dream, to start her own business and focus on that. Sarah try’s to tell a story with her photography. Her natural style gravitates toward a documentary or candid approach where she becomes a welcomed observer and captures images of you and your family as you interact and enjoy each other. She strives to create portraits that are authentic in their representation of the reality and emotion of a particular moment in time. Sarah is available to offer as little or as much direction as you’d like to receive. She understands that there may be specific posed shots that you would like and she is happy to accommodate. Either way, Sarah’s goal is for everyone involved to have fun and capture some great memories in the process. Sarah now resides and runs her buisness in Perham, MN.
