Description of Work: Doug Vale did an excellent job painting our home. My husband and I purchased a foreclosed home that needed a lot of work including paint. We received a few bids, and chose Doug because he seemed very detailed and was recommended to us by a friend. He was also the most affordable. Doug and his crew (James and Chris) painted the entire interior of the 3,000 sq ft home including ceilings, walls, window seals, doors, door frames, wainescoting, well room, and garage. They made the home go from a beat up old 1955 house, to feeling like a brand new home inside. The crew was very kind and professional. We were not living in the home at the time, but every time I stopped by, they were busy working very hard. They were also very family friendly when I had my kids with me and interacted with them very well. I was also impressed at all the preparation they did before they started painting. They covered every floor and fixture with plastic or paper to ensure no paint would get on it. They also spent days cleaning the walls, taking down old window fixtures, taping, fixing cracks, and sanding imperfections. They primed every inch that was going to be painted. After the painting was done, they left the house much, much cleaner than when they arrived. Even now, one year after they started all of their work, I am thankful every time I look at the walls. I love the skill that went into this job, and I will be hiring Doug and his crew for future work.
