The work was done incredibly quickly and well. The team cleaned up the site and were efficient and communicated very well. Would strongly recommend, and would hire them again if the need arises for another project.

Kristiaan was by far the best contractor I worked with during the remodel of my house. He was wonderful at communicating about options and scheduling, very considerate of my low budget, and thought of so many creative ideas to make my tiny, old kitchen work the best for me. Also, at the last minute, IKEA cancelled my butcher block countertop order after waiting for it to arrive for two weeks, and I was so panicked about having to find another affordable option. Kristiaan immediately came up with several ways to solve the problem affordably. I would recommend him with no reservations.

FANTASTIC. I know there aren't a lot of reviews but that's because Kristiaan is new to town. Don't look any further, CALL AVEX. Now. Seriously. Stop looking. Kristiaan: 1. responded right away 2. provided prompt, reasonable estimate (which turned out to be 100% accurate) 3. scheduled us right away, at our convenience 4. arrived on time 5. kept me involved (he asked questions during this process and while I took every one of his great recommendations, it was nice that he took the time to tell me what had to be decided and what the options were) 6. cleaned up each day 7. was generally sensitive to our space (Other guys who have worked on our kitchen have kind of taken over our house but Kristiaan clearly understood that this is a home in addition to a work zone. I appreciated that.) I chose Kristiaan and Avex based on other people's reviews. Please let me add my voice to the others here and I hope it influences you to call Avex.

We were impressed with Kristiaan from our first meeting. He was always quick to return calls and emails, and helped us with a lot of our basic questions since we were new to remodeling. He did a great job with the cabinet installation and we appreciated his commitment to doing an excellent job.
