The Cleaning Authority

Horrible service. Management never follows through with what they say they will do. The last cleaning team damaged our door by trying to break in and when we brought this up with the management team they had the nerves to yell at us saying that never happened. Cleaners never on time and hard to plan your day when you do not know when the cleaning team will show up. The cleaning teams in general are not thorough. Stay away!!

They're just not very good. They looked like they were cleaning, but nothing ever got clean. The people were nice, that's the only reason they received an extra star. Going by their work, I'd give them 1 star. I've used their service every two weeks for approximately 1/2 year and they made their last visit today 2/2/17. I have to re-clean or re-organize half of what they do each visit. They claim they send managers around from time to time to check up on their crews to make sure they're doing a good job - on their initial visit they made it look good by sending someone around, since then I haven't seen ANYONE. The employees seem to want to go through the motions and get out of the house as fast as possible and that was obvious. They also have problems with instructions. Today, one of the last straws was 2.5 hours of paper work I now have to completely re-do. I asked them THREE TIMES. Please don't touch the kitchen table, leave the paperwork, DO NOT TOUCH IT...THREE TIMES. I walked into my office for a bit, came back out and my work had been destroyed. Some of their employees don't speak English very well, but these two acknowledged to me that they understood what I was saying each time I asked. I'm done.

They did a good job. We used them for many years.

Average cleaning. Irritating time slots. The cleaners would show up first thing in the morning, while or even before, my wife and I would be getting ready for work. Then they wanted to charge us extra for requesting custom time slots. Really? Just for asking them to show up anytime after 10:00 a.m.?

Boy was I lucky! My "substitute" Crew of Violina and Jake were AWESOME! I cannot speak highly enough of their thoroughness, attention to detail, truly getting in the corners, moving all the items when dusting...they did it all! Violina and Jake have been the BEST TEAM I've ever had from The Cleaning Authority ever. May I please have them as my regular crew please?! Thank you Violina and Jake :)

We are long term clients with no concerns until early 2016. Shortly after 5% price increase, the level of service dropped. The office 1) started sending new teams where both members had never been to our house before and 2) stopped sending out supervisor/inspector to check on new teams. Both husband & I work from home, so orienting & training green teams takes away from our work and income time. I sent email to office manager expressing my concerns, requesting at least one member of team to be someone familiar with our home, or prior notice and a reasonable discount if we need to do this for them. Response was a snippy "find someone else if our service doesn't work for you", however, teams for our next two cleanings had been briefed on our concerns & did great work. Today, the team sent is completely new & I had to orient them to entire house, even though I had informed office that I would be recovering from foot surgery. As someone with extensive corporate management & leadership experience, it is clear the business has grown & the scope of the office manager's job has grown beyond the person's comfort zone. The cleaning teams are great, so it is especially sad to see a superior business degrading to just run of the mill.

Generally ok to good depending on the cleaning team you got. We had a few issues with breakage that were not handled very well. We dropped them when they tried to increase our price over 25% out of the blue with no justification. That is also the basis for our not hiring them again.

The 4 times I have had the cleaners out I have had to call and complain twice. The cleaners cut corners, they do not scrub the floors with a toothbrush as you state in your materials, heck they didn't even wipe up my master bathroom floor. I will not ever recommend this service to anyone I know. Also beware if you write a review that they do not like they call you and ask you to change it. They do not want people to know the truth about how bad their cleaners really are.

I was just appointed three out of the five times they were here, this last time they didn't mop the floor or even take out the garbage when they were garden. And they were not here as long as they said they would be here cleaning. Very lazy workmanship very slow too

This was my second device with them and it was better than the first I have to say. After complaining about the first "A" cleaning and having them come back and redo it they had a total of 4 cleaners this time to do deep clean part "B" 1 was an lead/inspector and the other 3 were cleaners. All were extremely friendly. When I requested all window track be done they were fine with doing them. The only suggestion would be to pay attention to detail as when I closed my windows that part was still dirty and I had to clean them. But over all a much better experience. Hopefully they continue.

We have been using the Cleaning Authority for the last few months and are very pleased with their service. We asked to have the same people come and do the work since we have 2 dogs and we wanted the dogs to get used to the same team coming into our house. They are very professional, efficient and the house looks wonderful when they leave.

I have used them several times but recently they have not been completing all the work I would like to see done, like forgetting to clean the sink or the floors.

We have only had them for about 3 months. So far they are meeting my expectations. I would recommend them. They are prompt, fast, do a nice job and I think the price is pretty decent.

They do a great job for us at each visit and have been able to accommodate schedule changes and additional cleanings. On holidays they do their best to reschedule around the holiday. Once I put in a request for a specific time and time of day - they were kind and accommodating. They use green clean materials and it smells fresh and looks beautiful when they leave. They are a lifesaver and keep this household moving along!

Our experience with them has been phenomenal. They do the job that we pay them for. The house is always nice and clean when we get home. We use them weekly.

They do a great job and I will continue using their services.

Average, they work so fast that they miss some things.

It is generally well-done and they are conscientious and get right to work. We usually leave during the time they are here. They are pleasant people and we know we can count on them. When we get home early and they are still at work, they are very accommodating to working around us. This is the best cleaning service we have ever used.

They come every two weeks to clean our house and they do a very thorough job.

After experiencing increasingly poor service from our previous cleaning service, I researched on Angie's list for a new provider, and coincidentally we had received a mailbox flyer from the service I decided to contact - The Cleaning Authority. We have been using them now for over six months and we are very pleased. Not only are they a little cheaper than our previous service, but their customer service and level of communication are fantastic. Of course the biggest thing is the quality of cleaning, which is great. We get a well cleaned house without all the wall scuffs and dings we were seeing with our previous service. Our only concern was regarding a slightly tricky sliding bathroom door that the cleaning crew obviously had trouble with during their first cleaning. The Cleaning Authority sent out a supervisor with the next cleaning to make sure the crew understood how to operate the door. Note that the first two cleanings were slightly more expensive than the monthly rate from then on, as they do a more thorough cleaning the first two visits in order to get the cleaning to a baseline level.

They broke a candle and knocked a picture off the wall. The bathroom floor was still dirty and did not dust a shelf. There was obvious dirt on a wall and they did not clean it. Emma from the office was helpful and offered yo gave the cleaners come back out to fly the bathroom floor and dust the shelf. When I explained I wanted to cancel future cleanings they wanted to send a supervisor out to talk with me. I understand stuff happens but the fact that stuff got broken and stuff was not cleaned on the first visit does not instill a lot of faith in future services.

They did a pretty good job. They were a few things, such a knobs on stove placed on wrong and volume on alarm clock turned all the way down when the clock was dusted. Also, I dais they needed to be out of the house by 3:00 and they were there until 4:25. The work they did was well done.

We have been using this cleaning service for about eight months now. They come in every other week and clean all of the upstairs rooms. Overall we have been very pleased but occasionally they will miss dusting under the couch or a piece of furniture. When brought to the owners attention she makes sure the problem areas are taken care of on the next visit. A supervisor will also stop by to make sure any problems have been taken care of.

The Cleaning Authority comes into my home every other week, while I am at work, to clean . I had several estimates from small and large cleaning companies. The supervisor who can out for original estimate was friendly and thorough. She asked me many questions about what I expected. We collaborated on a cleaning schedule and price. A crew of 2 or 3 come each time. The crew rotates which has worked out very well. They come with all their own supply and equipment. They do a great job. I had to call them back only once and the response was spectacular! I am so pleased with their service. It was a great decision to go with their company.

Over the phone estimate followed-up with in home meeting to go over our needs and receive an exact quote. We have completed the first two detailed cleanings and are very happy so far with the results! We've had other cleaning services & can see a difference with this crew. Their price is competitive and worth it for the level of detail. I think it helps that they have a team that comes to clean versus a single person.
