They were very communicative. All of the work had to be done in order to be the most efficient. There was a short delay and Von was very communicative, while I was out of town.

The owner did the job and he was good. He got the job done in about 2-3 hours.

There were extra costs associated with this deal that made the final job too expensive. I decided to not have the work completed because of this.

I did not hear back from this company, and am asking for a refund.

They removed and replaced a molded wall in my basement.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. There were no additional charges.

It was a fine experience. The gentleman was responsive.

That deal went fine. They leveled and an area for me so we could put a play house on it. It took them about 2 hours and 2 employees did the work. They were nice guys.

The provider was unresponsive and did not provide any services to us. We could not contact anyone to talk to about honoring our big deal coupon. Would not recommend this service provider to anyone.

Under the original deal, I would furnish the materials and they would do the work. They came out and said it would be $10,000 for the work. A week later he came back with a written estimate saying that he would be furnishing the materials and it was now $21,000. I decided not to use this company and got my money back for the Deal.

Purchased a Big Deal with this company for a project that I needed completed. Contacted the company and spoke with Tom. He told me to email some pictures of the project and he would contact me within the next couple of days to schedule. Never heard from Tom again. Repeatedly attempted to contact the company and had The Big Deal people contact them on my behalf. Still nothing. Thankfully I was able to receive a refund. Great customer service Angie's List. Poor customer service Von Companies.

I emailed him and have left a voicemail stating that I had purchased a BD and needed him to come do work. Never heard back from him.

We found Von Companies through a coupon promotion they had going through Angie's List. Tom was great. Despite having a full load of work as a result of this coupon promotion, Tom worked quickly and efficiently. I was able to buy materials myself to save some money, and he was very helpful in providing me an itemized list. The job took a total of two days. He arrived first thing in the morning both days, bringing all the necessary tools. I got updates from him at the end of each day, and though he had battled our old house were nothing was plumb or level, it looked straight and neat. He had a great attention to detail, and helped me save some more money by letting me take on the simpler jobs of caulking around gaps between the trim and ceiling. Overall our upstairs looks much sharper thanks to Von Companies. I will definitely be using him again for any future projects.

It was wonderful. The two men who came gave us a list of materials we still needed and as we went to get them they got busy working. It was a hot day and these two men worked incredibly hard to rebuild the stairs to make them safe my girls. Explained work that still needed to be done in great detail. And made sure we were comfortable doing it.

I had a number of jobs such as filling in cracks in basement floor, replacing the front door lock, sealing of an outside window and installing baseboard in my basement. When I saw the coupon for eight-hours of work by a general contractor for $299 i thought it fitted my needs perfectly. Tom came out completed all the jobs on my list and then some. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Von Companies.

He arrived on time, talked to me about the job and was gone when I returned. It seems to have been done well and 2/3 was completed within the one day (big deal). I still have the last third to go and the lumber is there. He did leave a hose and I told him, but never heard from him again.

They arrived on time and went right to work. Gave us a complete list of items needed beforehand so we could have them available and there was no wait time. The work was done in a timely manner and they completely cleaned up after themselves.

Von Companies came out and he took forever. He is not on time with his estimates at all. He will say one thing and do another. He wasn't prepared.
