TIMBERIDGE BUILDERS INC

Before interviewing any contractors, I had a pretty solid idea of what the layout would be. Mike is very creative and offered plenty of ideas for small extras to make the project something special. The estimate was the lowest of three. I would have been a bit wary but Timberidge, a local husband/wife team, had previously finished many basements in my neighborhood. Mike's style is to make mostly on-the-fly decisions with a loose plan and schedule, so that was a bit un-nerving. It all worked out terrific in the end though. Once they were underway, the project took about three months to complete, including time out for holidays. Mike and a couple of guys (also subs) took care of the framing and then the finish work at the end, and everything else was done by very small local subs that he has worked with for years. They were all professional and did a great job. Mike also allowed me to pick out and purchase my own fixtures, hardware, etc. Overall, I highly recommend Timberidge.
