Jim showed up at the first appointment with a bottle of red wine. Came across as a sincere professional. We chose Jim and his company because he lived down the road from the new home and thought for sure he would take care of us. Project was behind from day one. He never followed any of his promises on scheduling. The project took weeks longer than Jim quoted. When his crew did show up they did good quality work. However,once we paid Jim all his money upon substantial completion we could never get him back again to finish up the project. We lost approximately 15% of the trees, shrubs and plants that were all covered under warranty. All of last summer Jim promised they were coming out to fix the. All we have heard for 18 months now is excuse after excuse. Last spring it was too wet to do the repairs, then the summer was too hot to change out the plants and trees. He kept making promised right up till October. Well it's now summer of 2014 and he is still stringing us along. They were coming end of April and no showed again. We continue to call Jim with only email promises which said they were coming last Thursday or Friday. Well as you can imagine they didn't show or call again! We have pavers that need to be fixed and dozens of trees, shrubs and plants that need to be replaced. Jim is unresponsive. Every time we have people over we look at all the dead, brown bushes, shrubs and flowers not to mention the tripping hazards around the pool with the pavers. We still have big black 6 inch drainage pipes taped to our gutter downspouts waiting for Jim to install the drop boxes 18 months later. We have hired another company to come and do the second phase of the landscaping project and can't get started because Jim needs to show up and finish the grades where we have drainage issues and sink holes!
