+ -1 moreThe crew was working at a neighbors home & we asked if they could take down the branches. They had the proper equipment and with their excellent skills it was done in less than 20 minutes. They were very careful of access & plantings. They go above and beyond with the haul away and full clean up of the area. We were very pleased and will use them for future work.
Description of Work: Large "widow maker" broken branch groupings high up in back trees needed to be removed to prevent damage or injury.

Description of Work: Collins Tree did an outstanding job removing a very large, dying oak tree endangering our house. The tree was expertly dropped, the stump was removed and clean up was thorough and complete.

+ -1 moreRandy came out and provided an estimate and then he and his son did the work with a bucket truck. Clearly very experienced and knowledgable. Positive friendly attitude. Agreed to add some additional trimming that wasn't in the original quote for a reasonable price.

+ -1 moreWe were extremely pleased with the price and the removal with doing no damage in such close quarters. Mr. Collins and his team were extremely knowledgeable, punctual and polite. I highly recommend them.
Description of Work: Randy Collins and company removed two mature cottonwood (domestic) trees both of which were close to the house, fence, playhouse. Mr. Collins did the estimate and directed the removal team. Stumps were ground and all debris was completely removed.

+ -1 moreThis was a very informative and positive experience for me. Randy was honest, professional, and took the time to explain the basis for his conclusions. I'll definitely contact him when I have issues with trees in the future.
Description of Work: Randy responded promptly to my request for a quote on taking down a tall oak that I had concerns about. He inspected the tree and explained the reasons why he did not think I needed to take down the tree. I had concerns about the structural integrity of the tree, and he showed my why he did not think there was a real problem with the tree. He also told me things to watch for in the future to monitor the situation. He inspired confidence through his obvious knowledge and experience, as well as his honesty and integrity. He was willing to give me cost estimates, but made it clear that he thought the tree would be fine for many years. As a result, I saved a lot of money and can enjoy the tree with confidence that it won't be a problem in the near term.

+ -1 moreThey were very neat about it and cleaned up all the wood. Then they came out later and ground out the stumps. They did a fine job, they were neat and efficient. They didn't leave a mess and they did just what they said they would do. Their price didn't seem to be really outrageous. I called them again for something, but they weren't able to do the job I needed done.

+ -1 moreAmazingly well! I called on Thursday afternoon and the work, possibly because the "window" for safely trimming oak was short, was completed by noon the next day! My initial call was returned promptly, they arrived on time, brought more than enough equipment to complete the work, were very efficient with their time, and removed all debris. Randy asked if the work was acceptable. He also willingly answered questions I had about other trees on the property. Both men very personable and professional. I asked for a business card for a friend who needs a tree removed!
Description of Work: Two mature oak trees had large, low-hanging limbs that made mowing beneath them impossible. Randy Collins and Jesse cut these limbs and hauled debris away. Jesse asked if I would like the larger limbs cut for firewood. He cut the useable wood into short lengths and stacked it in a neat pile.
