Extremely professional with service, knowledge, and cleanliness. Of all the companies that I called they also understood radon system attachment along with how to approach it. I was throughly impressed and would use again for all plumbing work across home.

After replacement parts were installed, the toilet still ran. The technician said that there was probably a small leak in the porcelain, so he replaced the toilet with a new one. He applied the trip charge to the cost of the new toilet.

horribly overpriced. cost almost $600 to replace a part. I could have bought a whole new toilet for less. I would never use them.

The technician came to check it out, couldn't find a problem, simply plugged it back in and was working fine (there was no charge, which was nice). After he left, we noticed that our furnace/AC was no longer working. It turns out that the switch to the furnace was damaged that same day (which is located right by our water heater). We called Roto after having the switch replaced by another company ($200+) to see if they would help with the cost/offer some sort of credit (we don't believe that the switch breaking right after the technician came was coincidental), but the manager simply kept stating that the technician was there to check the water heater and wouldn't have messed with the furnace switch.

The reason for the F rating is that their prices are not posted on their website and that the technician can charge what ever they feel the customer is willing to pay. Last year I got my floor drain cleaned out and the cost was $195 which passed my gut check. On Monday, my grandma called to have her floor drain cleaned out the cost was 319 + parts. The work only took 40 minutes, which is over $400 per hour in labor costs. I just feel that elderly people can be taken advantage of.

Nothing like having your basement start backing up with, yes, sewage when you're about to have guests for dinner on a Sunday night. That was us. We called Roto-Rooter, and they had someone at our house in well under a half-hour. The immediate mess was removed, and since the solution required adding an exit drain to our stack (old house, old main line!), we received assurances of a next day visit and excellent service. INDEED, we got exactly that; Ray arrived the following morning, fixing our issue for good. We completed the process with Brian, another great tech who cleaned out all of the lines and documented both the condition and some light, regular (every few years) maintenance that can prevent a $10k+ issue. I am admittedly hard to please, and I felt the work by this team was outstanding, very fairly priced, and comprehensive.

I was traveling on business in the Caribbean when my wife contacted me to tell me we had a leak in the sink in our rented apartment in our duplex. I went to the Roto Rooter website and made an appointment for Friday afternoon, the appointment was accepted and I was impressed by the response. Later on Friday my wife contacted me again to tell me they didn't keep the appointment and were rescheduling for Monday. They advertise emergency service and when I contacted the dispatcher, he could not make an appointment until Monday. That was too late so I cancelled the appointment. In the meantime it is Friday evening and too late to find someone else A very disappointing experience. Angie's was ineffective when I really needed help.

I scheduled service on the afternoon of June 13th for a backed up floor drain. On June 14th, I received a call at 8:50 am saying a technician was on the way. Brian (#936) and his intern arrived within 30 minutes, quickly diagnosed the problem, and unclogged the line in no time. Prompt, courteous service earns an A in my book! I gave the price a "C" because $270 for 20 minutes of work is very pricey, but I undertand that that is business these days.

They went beyond what any previous plumber had done. Found the problem without an extra charge.

Josh (technician #4348) was great, I highly recommend him. He was friendly yet professional. After spending some time he explained what had happened and went immediately to work clearing the drain. He was knowledgable, considerate, and got the job done. This is the second time we had problems with this drain and Josh was able to diagnose the problem and explain it in a way that was understandable and clear. Both times we had service from Roto-Rooter were excellent I recommend them if you have any drain needs.

Brian#936 arrived early this morning and cleared the drain. Went great, as far as I am concerned.

There was some confusion around scheduling but, once the work was done, it was done very well.

This was the most professional experience I have had in a long time if ever. Josh (#4348) was super helpful, explained the process and unclogged the drain. Not only that, this was definitely the neatest technician I have ever worked with. I think that under the sink was cleaner when he left. Very thorough and I would hire them again if the need ever arises!! Great experience!

They were very helpful and quick. Once they got here it took about ten to fifteen minutes to complete the work. There was just one worker that came to do the work. The worker was very nice. He cleaned the area very nice, very well when he was finished with the work.

Not well. Called on Thursday to set up an appointment. They said they could come Friday. I told them my daughter would be home but would have no way to pay and they would need to bill us. They asked if I could be home on Saturday at 8:30am. I said yes and gave them the home phone number. Today is Saturday and they never showed. I called them and was told that they don't have plumbers on Saturdays and they tried to come yesterday. Very frustrating. I now need to call someone else and can't use my bathroom sink.
