Roto-Rooter Plumbing & Water Cleanup

Park Aaron was exceptional. It was a new home owner needing Roter Rooter to view the sewer lines with a camera and then a cleaning and removing the roots. He looked through all of the plumbing and gave professional advice on everything there. . He was very detailed in his write up and provided a lot of information for a new home owner. Brian (tech# 936) arrived within the scheduled window and called us to know he was on the way. He inspected the pipe, explained what it was connected to and how it wasn't the main line backing up but just our laundry floor drain. He fixed the problem and gave us some good advice to how keep it from happening again ( do not use trash disposal in your kitchen sink). We are happy with the quality of work that Brian did for us.

We had a great experience. While it could have been a huge inconvenience they did all in their power to keep water on for our everyday tasks. They were courteous, respectful and very professional. Would definately use them again. Josh was the young man that came out on Sunday afternoon. He was great as well as the two guys who did the outside work We are pleased.

I'm not sure if this is the right location, but my husband called on a Saturday to have someone come to our house to clean our sewer line since it was backing up. The person on the phone said they'd be there anywhere between 2-7. A man named Fred, #4155 arrived at 3. We were happy with the quick response and for arriving so quickly. My husband said that he was professional and did he great job. We'd use Roto Rooter again in the future.

We have used Roto-Rooter several times over the years. They have always been very responsive, hard working and competent. Our most recent experience was no exception. Everyone was great to work with from the dispatcher to Gabe, our plumber who fixed the problem. They were very prompt, and had the problem remedied in no time. Although many may say the cost of their services are high, we have found they are often more rerasonable than other companies when we have inquired - and they didn't charge us more for after hours service (our service call was at 8:30 on a Monday night). Very happy with this company and they remain our "go-to" company for drain back-up service.

Josh arrived within 2 hours of my call to Roto Rooter on a Saturday morning. The laundry room drain was completely clogged with no water going down. Josh determined that the main line was clogged and we located the main drain in a basement bedroom under the carpet. Josh helped move the bed and furniture to get to the drain and also helped move the bed and furniture back when he was done. He used a bigger machine to unclog the drain out to the street and then used a smaller machine to unclog the laundry room drain. The price seemed very reasonable for the amount of time spent. The water flowed great when Josh was done and he was very careful to keep the carpet and furniture near where he was working clean and undamaged. I would definitely use Josh and Roto Rooter again.

.The provider was very good at explaining what needed to be done and why. He did not talk down to me because I am a woman and old. He was very professional at all times. It took him a little over two hours as he had estimated and he did a good job of cleaning up the sewage that had come up from the main line.

Called around 12:30 on a Saturday. Was told they could send someone out after 2 pm, and they would call me 30 minutes prior to arrival. At 4:20 pm they called me and said their plumbers were running late but would find someone. Ten minutes later they called back to say someone would be there within 20 minutes--which was the case. That was fine because I was cooking all afternoon and could stay home to wait. I needed to use my sink so I was glad someone could come out on Saturday. The plumber arrived and was friendly. Told me he could fix the problem. Before doing the work had me sign a statement that the work would be $259, flat fee. I though that was kind of steep for 20/30 minutes of work, but then again, I didn't ask when I called. Job was messy/smelly but he cleaned up. I would use again if I needed emergency plumbing, realizing that the service will cost a premium.

The Technician, Juan, did an excellent job of explaining the probable problem and fixing the problem. He was very courteous, effective and careful. Juan fixed the problem perfectly and did a great job of cleaning up and double checking to make sure the the lines were open and that there were no leaks. I was very pleased with Rotor Rooters quick response and Juan's professionalism. I will not hesitate to use Rotor Rooter again if I have any future drain or plumbing problems.

Once we discussed how to proceed it went very well. The stack was opened, the drain was cleared, and everything was cleaned up really well afterward. The only negative part of the experience was the way in which service was scheduled and communicated to us. I made the appointment two weeks in advance and selected a window from 8:00 to noon. On the day of service I received one call around 10:30 saying that there would be a delay and that our service person would arrive between noon and 2:00. Between about 2:00 and 3:00 no one had come or called so I called and asked the dispatcher what was happening. I was told that they should have someone to the house between 4:00 and 6:00. I thought about cancelling, but didn't want something like this happening again on another day, so I agreed. The service person arrived about 5:00 pm. He was very quick and professional about every aspect of the job. He carefully explained their charges and that the job would cost much less if I agreed to pull up the carpeting to get to the main clean-out, but I told him I would absorb the cost to avoid the hassle of doing so. Aside from the long wait and lack of communication about arrival times I was satisfied with the work.

I was told that someone would be here between 8-12 and they would call 30 minutes before arrival. I called at 1:30 to see what was going on. After being disconnected, I called back and was told that no one was currently available and they would call me within an hour to let me know. Two hours later, I was called and told someone would be here within 30-40 minutes. Adam arrived and was very pleasant and completed the job. I understand that unexpected things happen, but I would have appreciated a call to let me know the status.

Day was busy so he ended up coming right at the end of the window but still on time. Quote on the spot. He was very professional and friendly. Did the job quickly. I felt like I did a good thing by calling them. Technician was Fred #4155

I called Roto Rooter on Sunday 11/15/15 because we needed someone to urgently come out and clean our main drain in the basement since it had backed up. I received confirmation with my address, phone number, alternate phone number, address, my name, and my husband's name. They told me they would be out in 4 hours and that someone would call me within 30 minutes of their arrival. They refused to give me a price for main drain clean out and said the plumber would let me know the price after he/she looked at the issue. After 4 hours of waiting (8pm at night by this point), we called wondering where they were. They lost our name, our ticket, and a request for service. Jeremy, the dispatcher, told me, it "may" have been an error on their part. Didn't even offer to get someone out asap. I would never ever ever use their services again.

Jeff from Roto-Rooter was on time and courteous. He covered his shoes and the wheels on the machine that cleaned out the drain. He was here less than an hour, and he left everything clean and back to the way it was when he arrived.

It went great! Great service and was very friendly and did a great job fixing the drain. Did not rush fixing. Very professional and kind.

Service was excellent. The main sewer drain backed up in laundry room. I called Roto-Rooter and was very fortunate to have Dave the technician come out. He cleared the line from the house out to the street. He was very neat, professional and took extra care to make sure the carpet and walls were protected and not damaged in any way. He was very knowledgeable and continued until the line was completely cleared and the problem resolved. He was extra patient with me... I asked lots of questions and talked to him the entire time and he remained pleasant and continued to work. I could not have asked for a better person to come out to my home. (on a side note... he has a little tool he invented that I tried really hard to get him to let me have, but he refused to part with it. Oh well... I may have to call the company back again at some point, but I will specifically ask for Dave to see if I can convince him to part with it! ha ha ha!) Seriously he was really great and did a wonderful job!!

It was obvious Brian knew exactly what he was doing and I could not be happier. I have an inspector coming tomorrow from the housing authority and this was the last item I needed to fix. Thanks Brian and RotoRooter! I will skip trying to fix it myself next and call RotoRooter again.

It wasn't an emergency so we scheduled it out a few days to fit our schedule. We picked the time window and they called us 45 minutes ahead. Robbie (Tech #3430) arrived within the time window and very close to the time we were given. He found the clog and cleared the drain. But what I learned about their services is more important. I will be calling them the next time I need emergency plumbing service. They have 24 hour service without the emergency fee.

He was able to unclog our main drainage pipe line within 30 minutes. The only negative experience was a 3 hours waiting for technician to show up, and the price is quite high for 30 minutes work.
