excellent... very professional and explained everything in detail. Brian #936 was amazing and fixed our problem well and quickly. He was very thorough and informative about everything he was doing. I will use Roto-Rooter again for sure... but hope it's not necessary again! So very, very grateful to have everything working again... can't say thank you enough!!!

The technician was professional and gave us tips on how to maintain a clear drain. They are a bit pricey compared to other plumbers, but when you call at 1:00pm on a Saturday, they are usually the only ones that can schedule for the same day, and they are punctual.

Great- Repair man was on time and did a great job

Called before they came to the house, showed up exactly on time, professional, wore covers on shoes. Told me exactly what they were going to do, and explained the problem. Fixed in a reasonable amount of time .. very pleased! Would definitely call again!

Very quick service. The backup happened late on a Friday afternoon. (of course) But they were able to get there by 5:30 PM and deal with the problem. It only took about 1/2 hour and it was all cleared up. Cost was a bit more than I thought but with the punctual service and the 6 month guarantee, it was worth it.

The plumber, Josh #4348 was excellent. He was clean, respectful and explained the problem thoroughly. In addition, he helped to clean the flooded area and went out of his way to help. Overall, very knowledgeable and helpful. We will be using roto-rooter again and ask specifically for Josh.

Roto-Rooter did do service and they did a good job. We had a back up of sludge in our basement. They drilled through there and got it all out. It was kind of late at night, I think it was like 7 or 8pm. They were here about three months ago in January of 2017. They did a nice job. They came over right when I needed them.

Great .. they cut a pipe and used a tool to find the problem, patched it all up and it is working great!

The first part, the cleaning, was excellent. We were scheduled for a Wednesday morning, sometime within a 4-hour window. We were called that morning that a serviceman would be arriving in about 30 minutes. Brian (#936) came within that timeframe, quickly got to work and got the job done with no problems. Brian was very professional and if that was the end of it, I would have given Roto-Rooter an "A" review. However, Brian informed me that as part of their service, they do a video inspection at no extra charge. He was not set up to do the inspection and offered to set up an appointment to have it done. I agreed and was present as he set up the inspection over the phone for the following Friday morning, again, within a 4-hour time slot. Friday arrived but we received no warning call and no one ever came. I called Roto-Rooter and they had no record of the appointment. I did not reschedule. Somebody dropped the ball, which is why I have to lower my review to a "C".

Over the years, I've always called Roto-Rooter to unclog our house drains, and honestly, have always been impressed with their work. This time, Josh (tech #4348) arrived at the time scheduled (in less than 30 mins), quickly assessed the totally clogged laundry sink and floor drain, wrote out a quick estimate, and went to work. Courteous and professional, he answered my many questions about the problem, probable causes and future solutions. He cabled the laundry tub sink from the stack clean out. This took him 3 times to clean out the line to his standards. Then he cabled the trap and the floor drain to the mainline (about 45-50'). He noticed a blockage way out where the mainline began, and ran 3 more tests until water flowed freely. He then recommended specific steps for us to take to prevent a similar blockage from occuring in the future. He wore "booties" over his shoes to prevent any tracking in dirt from outside. Then, when I thought he had finished, he began a meticulous clean up, wiping down appliances and the floor in the vacinity, cleaning the spotty mess I made the night before! Josh was thorough, friendly, and very professional. I highly recommend Roto-Rooter's commitment to quality, their aversion to "the quick fix", and attention to details. Our tech, Josh, represented RR with integrity today in my home.

We had two sink drains that drained poorly. The technician, "Josh", did an excellent job of explaining the reason for the problem and what can be done to prevent the problem in the future. Josh was professional in his work, demeanor, and appearance. He was respectful when dealing with the homeowner, and carefully cleaned up the work area. The cost for service seems high to me, but I am very satisfied with the recent experience.
