In business for over 32 years as the electrical contractor for residential electrical repair, maintenance & upgrades (existing homes - as opposed to new homes). Home owners in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area use us because we pride ourselves on workmanship, reliability and most importantly, professionalism. Electrical service upgrades (fuses to circuit breakers & overhead to underground conversions), addition wiring, and remodeling services are some of our specialties. Electrical Wiring or Panel Upgrade
Very efficient (same day), friendly, and capable, but so so expensive. We had a 100amp electric panel upgraded to a 150amp, and Harrison Electric installed a Siemens panel with copper frame. Our wiring was good so the electrician only had to change 2 wires along with the panel. We also elected to add a surge protection to the panel, the total was ~$3300, definitely on the very high end in price. Time will tell if it's worth it...

Excellent work but they are a bit expensive I thought. I would recommend them as they were quick and to the point. Explained things well and simply and got right to it.

These guys came in to handle the electric side of an inspection which included moving the electric drop in from the city lines to the house. They showed up with everything they needed including permits and even fixed a few things that had been missed on the inspection.

Smoke alarm located 20 feet up went off, driving me crazy with that annoying chirp. No way I could get up to change the battery. I called in the morning, and they were there that same morning. Al was professional, got right to it, and my sanity returned.

I was satisfied with the quality of the work. The people I dealt with were professional and courteous. There was a no-show for my first scheduled appointment (with no call) and despite a "guarantee" of arrival during the scheduled 2 hour window, the next appointment was also an hour late with a call about a half hour after the window of time had elapsed. I understand that things happen that are not in the control of the individual however it is frustrating to wait for workman who don't show up or call or come late.

Beware. This company completely took advantage of me and charged me over $600 to come out to my home evaluate two possible issues and change and outlet. I have contacted other companies showed them a photo of what was switched out and 3 electrical professionals were amazed with what they charged. I was not impressed with electrician he was easily frustrated and upset when I chose not to do the other project.

The serviceman was pleasant, but my significant other and I did feel pressured about completing all of the recommended fixes instead of just the outlet we had asked for. We ended up spending 500$ more than I had expected because we were told we would not pass an inspection without the fixes to our fire alarms that had to be done by a professional electrician. We were told someone would call to set up an inspection shortly after the appointment was finished. Still have not heard from anyone 2 weeks later. I did get my new outlet and some education, they also gave me coupons for future service.
