They seem to be busy as it takes a couple days usually to have phone calls returned, but they show up when they say they will be there, are quick, efficient and provide free written estimates. When we let them know we wanted to proceed with the work, they arrived within a few days, as promised, to complete the job. They did the job as described, at a reasonable price and left no mess. Waiting to see if the repair on the leaking corner is going to hold up and be successful, but are very pleased with the service, the work and the price. Would definitely use them again.
Description of Work: Added gutter to part of second story, connected downspouts to underground drain pipes, repaired leaking corner and adjusted pitch of existing gutter to improve drainage

+ -1 moreI have been impressed so far. The installation was done quickly and looks very good. The installer came back two days later to replace a section of new gutter on our garage that was first installed in the wrong color. He was very willing to do that without problem. I like that kind of friendly and willing customer service. I would recommend calling Steve Oberg at G.O. Gutters for this kind of project. (call 612-701-8066) Until next fall we won't know how well the gutter covers work to keep leaves out. I'll write more when we know. The entire project cost about 1/3 of the cost of LeafGuard or LeafAway. I would probably have used one of them if it wasn't for the substantial cost difference.
Description of Work: We have had leaves build up in our rain gutters so much that they would clog and over-flow. I needed to go up on an extension ladder two or three times a year to clean them out. It is a two story house, so very high. Also, when the original gutters were installed there were just two downspouts for the entire house. On days of heavy rain, this was not enough so the gutters would overflow. We investigated Leaf Guard and Leaf Away first. They offer a great product but it requires replacing all the gutters with new ones that include covers to keep out the leaves but allow the rain to flow back under the covers and into the gutter. This was an expensive solution. After talking with a good friend in the roofing business he suggested calling Steve Oberg of G.O. Gutters. Steve was very professional and seemed to know his business. He did not think it was necessary to go with the replacements. He has had good success with a cover called Rhino Gutter Guard. These are micro-mesh screens on top of a strong lattice of metal. They are screwed to the fascia of the house and to the front edge of the gutter. This is a very rigid cover over the existing gutter. Online reviews of the product were generally favorable. I imagine this product is available somewhere for do it yourselfers. Again, I was tired of ladder work so was happy to have G.O. Gutter do it. G.O. Gutters also added two new downspouts so that there is more opportunity for rain to run down rather than overflow. Now we will wait to see how well the covers keep the leaves out and still let rain flow into the gutters.

+ -1 moreOVERALL, I AM VERY SATISFIED. STEVE IS VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE AND SURPRISED ME WITH HIS SUGGESTIONS AND HIS EXPERTISE. HE NOTICED THE NUMBER OF OAK TREES AROUND AND SUGGESTED LARGER DOWNSPOUTS THAN USUAL. HE MATCHED THE GUTTERS AND DOWNSPOUTS VERY WELL TO THE COLORS OF THE HOUSE. THE DOWNSPOUTS ARE VERY UNOBTRUSIVE AND DO NOT SPOIL THE AESTHETICS OF THE HOUSE. HE MADE SURE THE SPOUTS PUT WATER AWAY FROM THE FOUNDATION WITHOUT OBSTRUCTING ANY LAWN MOWING ACTIVITY. STEVE AND HIS TEAM WERE VERY PUNCTUAL AND FINISHED THEIR JOB WHILE WE WERE GONE. WHEN WE CAME BACK, EVERYTHING WAS IMMACULATE AND PER SPECIFICATION. THE WORKMANSHIP IS OUTSTANDING, THE MITERS JUST RIGHT. CLEANUP WAS SPOTLESS. ALL THIS FOR A VERY REASONABLE PRICE. HIS QUOTE WAS 20-40% LOWER THAN ANY OTHER. I WOULD STRONGLY RECOMMEND HIM AND HIS GO GUTTERS TO ANYBODY IN TOWN. HE OFFERS A 5 YEAR LABOR WARRANTY AND 50 YEAR PRODUCT WARRANTY. HE EVEN EXTENDED MY SUMP-PUMP PIPE WITH A GUTTER-PIECE WITHOUT MY REQUEST! OUTSTANDING!
