Description of Work: Careless workmanship. First off, they installed the wrong window! I had ordered two custom Marvin windows for my project. They managed to install one of them but for the other they installed a different window. One of them had a white vinyl interior and the other unfinished wood. They couldn’t have looked more different from each other, so I don’t know how a detail like that is so easily missed. They did come back out and give me the proper window, but it meant another day of construction in the house, so definitely not very ideal. Additionally, they cut through a coaxial cable (internet) on the outside of the house. It wasn’t my main line, but it was one that I had run to split the signal, so again not overly pleased. It wasn’t even a buried cable! It was running along the base of the house. Lastly, all of the flashing (the water barrier) that was installed around the window opening isn’t sufficiently adhered to the wood. There are some staples holding it down but it most definitely isn’t a tight seal. I would not recommend them. There are definitely better contractors out there.

Description of Work: Removed existing window and window well, and installed a 33" x 48" egress window for our basement finishing project. They were very responsive, and we were able to get on their calendar within (basically) one month from date we signed the contract proposal. Crew was courteous and left the interior and exterior in clean condition. Cost that I reflected here included all permit fees. I would recommend for anyone looking to have a window installed with minimal hassle. Thanks Egress Window Guys (and Gals)!

Description of Work: Don Weld is the consummate professional. Courteous, timely and thorough. The company's install schedule did not meet with our general contractors timeline si I couldn't do business with EWG. I felt the need to say how blown away I was by the EWG staff, website and by Don's personal involvement. Give them a call. The best company that I have dealt with in a long, long time.

Description of Work: We had an egress window installed. The scheduling and initial responsiveness was great. The crew showed up when they said they would and had it completed when they said they would. However, after contacting them regarding some leakage issues that occurred a few weeks after installation they implied that the issue had no relation to the installation of the window, and failed to follow through on investigating the issue. We resolved it on our own--but the lack of professionalism in following through on their product made us unhappy.
