Throughout the whole experience, including contacting them for an estimate, to scheduling the job, to completing it and following up, the "Egress Window Guy"s were friendly, prompt, and professional. I was especially impressed with the two guys who did the actual labor of digging out and installing the window- the job ended up being much more difficult than they had initially expected, but they were cheerful and industrious! They worked until after dark and then came back right away the next day to finish.

These guys were great. From the estimate to completion of the project. I will definitely be calling these guys in the future.

We wanted to add a window to our basement. We didn't shop around as I read really good things about this guys in this site. Don came to our house so he could give us an estimate based on our requirements and needs. Then, two days later Jack came to look at the house as we asked them to file the permit application at our city. One day, I found out that my garden was all sprayed out with different color paints. I thought that someone from the city was here to mark electricity, heat, cable, and telephone connections, but Jack explained me that they hire a company to do this kind of job for them (I was very surprised) Jack took care also to set the inspection date, so I didn't have to do anything. Nick and Nate were the guys who came to get their hands dirty, In two days, they finished the job. They know what they are doing. They are professionals who did a detailed job in a tidy manner. I didn't have to clean after them. My husband and I are very pleased with their job.

They upcharged their standard price to account for the travel time, but they were very fair. They did a perfect job (we coordinated the work with no one being at the cabin). Couldn't be happier.

Prices wise they were the same as everybody else. They did come out to give us the estimate. As for being responsive we did have some trouble in getting the timing right. We will consider them in the future.

We neded an egress window installed where a prior, small window was located in our basement. We thought we had a wooden sidewalk outside the window, and were going to remove this ourselves to allow for just the egress window work to be done by the company. However, when we dug up the wooden sidewalk, we found a concrete sidewalk underneath! The guys from the company brought out a jackhammer and were prepared to remove the one sidewalk...only to find a SECOND layer of 4" thick concrete sidewalk underneath. The two guys who came out here were great! They worked h****** a cold day to take up both layers of sidewalk (there was an additional charge, but it was fair and reasonable) and were done with the window installation by afternoon. The window looks great! We would definitely recommend Egress Window Guy to friends and family if they were in need of an egress window. The price was the best around, the person who came out to estimate the work for us was straightforward and honest, and the guys who came to do the work were hard-working, respectful and knew what they were doing. We were relieved to find what seems to be a trustworthy company with employees who performed work with which we were pleased.

I contacted the Egress Window Guys and they came out two days later to give me an in-home estimate. I have a poured foundation and was wanting to make sure they could install the window in my desired location. Jason was very informative and helpful throughout this process. Upon coming to terms his crew was out there 10 days later. They did an outstanding job cutting through the wall while limiting the dust and need for clean-up after the fact. They installed an Integrity window ($400), along with a reinforced cap for the window well at my request. After they finished, it was hard to tell that they had even been in the yard, leaving it as clean and tidy as before they came. The building inspector was clearly impressed by their work, which says a lot. Overall, I would highly recommend the Egress Window Guys. They worked extremely hard and left me with a high-quality window installation that my wife and I will be able to enjoy for years to come. A+ work!

Egress Window Guy was great. He was responsive in providing an estimate and able to get the project done quickly. The work done was on schedule and quality was great.

Mark was very accommodating and professional from start-to-finish. He contacted us promptly for an estimate at our home and answered all of our questions throughout the duration of the project. We decided to dig the holes for the windows ourselves; Mark clearly explained the dimensions he needed. He provided cost breakdowns for all the options we were considering to stay within our budget. When we communicated our plan to install the window well ourselves, he was generous in explaining the dimensions of the well we would need. The work happened to take place on the hottest day of the week (100+ heat index). He planned ahead to make sure there was enough help on-hand to get the work done efficiently and safely. Everyone was courteous and professional, and the project was completed on-time. Perfect.

The Egress Window Guy sets the standard for contractors. He communicated with us very well, showed up on time, completed the project on time, and charged exactly what he quoted. The window and the window well look great. The egress window was the first step in our basement remodeling project during which we've had many other contractors in the basement for plumbing, gas, electrical, drain tile, etc. They have all given us compliments on the window.

Mark and his crew were very professional and responsive. I called one day, he did the estimate the next and the work on the following day. The actual install took less than half a day. The window, although the least expensive option, looks very nice and is exactly what we were looking for. I would highly recommend Mark to anyone looking for egress window installation. He did an excellent job.

Mark was very helpful from the start. I e-mailed him photos of my site and and he let me know what could be done. I wanted to do the digging and building of the wall myself to save on cost and he gave me excact requirments as to how deep and wide the hole needed to be dug. There was no pressure from him to do all the work. The job was completed earlier than expected and they did a great job.

Mark offered a lot of advice on performing the work and his website is very informative. Unfortunately, he was too busy to do the work, and after a while, I had to get someone else to do it.

It was a great experience. I had to work with Mark Johnson remotely on this rental property. He coordinated everything with my renters, and installed an excellent egress window. He completed the job in just 2 days and ensured that the renter was impacted as little as possible.

No complaints. Mark was on time and was very diligent about explaining the process to us. He even accomodated us by ordering a larger dumpster so that we could dispose of other construction material as well as the dirt and rock that were removed from our property.

It was great. He came to my home and gave me an estimate and that's what I paid. He actually did extra work that he didn't have to do and helped me out with a few things.

The project went better than we could have expected. We checked out Mark's outstanding website to learn about the myriad of alternatives and learn the decisions we needed to make and the questions we needed to ask. All of our dealings with Mark were professional and informative. We felt like he was a most trustworthy contractor.

This was the best service I have ever received from someone working on my home. Everything was first rate from the response to my inquiry, the estimate was helpful and not just a sales pitch, he was on time, he protected my lawn, the basement room he installed the window in was cleaner after he left than before he came in. Mark did an exceptional job and even thanked me for my business (sadly a rarity these days). I could not have had a better experience or finer outcome.

Overall everything went perfect. I loved how the window looks, really opens the basement. The whole process was a quality performance with quality products.

It went very well. Work was done when he said it would be. Work was done quickly and beautifully. The window looks great on the inside and the outside. The only minor complaint we would have is that there was some fine dust in the basement which we vacuumed up the next day. Mark was easily accessible by phone. Is very friendly, listens well and had useful suggestions for us on how we might save a little bit of money in the process by selecting a window that was the same width as the existing (small) window. This meant less cutting of cinder block and hence a little less time and $.

From start to finish Mark was wonderful. He was professional and competent. He also went above and beyond the work he was contracted for. In addition to the windows he took up part of sidewalk, did some grading, and took away extra concrete we had on the property at no extra charge. The windows look great.

He did a great job. Returned email and calls quickly. Came on time, finished exactly when promised, left everything clean inside and out, even the new carpet in the basement was left in perfect condition after the work was completed. Price was fair with no hidden costs.

Mark did an excellent job. I am a structural engineer and am very picky about how things are done. He did a great job!

Great! Mark did a great job giving us information and details before the job and then was patient enough to describe how to dig the hole and what specific dimensions that he needed. He also hauled away some cement, that we broke up for no charge.
