It went very well, we ran into some weather issues the first day, but the crew was back out the next day to finish the job. The windows look great, and the crew was excellent about answering any questions I had.

On time, professional, excellent workmanship, cleaned up the area when done.

It was a great experience. I was provided detailed explanations prior to any work being done as well as a detailed check-out first to be sure I knew everything and was happy.

The company, from owner to crew, were respectful, friendly, and efficient. Very good quality work took great measures to make it as convenient and neat as possible

They were punctual and great workers. Not only did they explain exactly what was going to happen, they spent a lot of time making sure that the dust and damage to the basement walls was minimalized as much as possible. They went the extra mile making sure that the job was done right, at their own expense. Everybody who has seen my basement now who also had drain-tile work done is amazed that they did as good a job as they did in as little time as they did it. They all say that their basements now are slanted towards the wall now, or that their walls were more destroyed by the process, etc... Don't trust another company to get the job done right and then be horrified when they screw up the job, just call these guys and save yourself a ton of anxiety and money. The owner of the company is Don Weld and he is a great guy, easy to talk to and runs an efficient crew. I talked to the guys in the office, Dan and Jack who both were in no hurry to get off the phone with me and spent plenty of time making sure that my concerns were addressed and that it was scheduled properly. The guys who came out to do the work were Nate, Ben, Zach, Nik, and Marcus who were all great and hard workers. I can't believe how fast they were!

Chose Egress Window Guy through Angie's List. Called and made an appointment for someone to come out and look at where we wanted the window to go in. An estimate was made and job scheduled. The estimator was prompt and friendly. It would be a tricky install because it would be right next to where gas, electric and cable enter our home (right up against the window) but the estimator said it could be done, no problem. The work was scheduled a few weeks later. Two workers arrived on time, began the work. Right away an issue was discovered: the estimator failed to check where the wiring comes out of the electrical box next to where they need to cut through the block. A licensed electrician would be needed. The workers recommended I try to find someone but if I couldn't they would have their office try to get someone. I got a list of electricians through Angie's List, called six or more, but none could come out on such short notice. Egress Window Guy had a family member who was a licensed electrician. He came out fairly quickly and rewired that wall. (We were billed separately for that.) Also, the cable ran closer to the house on the outside than marked by utility marker people so had to do a little more digging in the yard, but work continued. Window was finished, trim was completed, install was explained, operation of window explained. They also recommended where to get a sturdy window well cover, which we did. Unfortunately they didn't explain the difficulty of installing a "simple to install" cover with utilities right up next to the window.

They were on time for the job, scheduling was easy. I felt very comfortable having them in my home.

Provided a prompt and competitive proposal for egress window installation. Gave multiple options of window wells as requested. When proposal was accepted was prompt in scheduling work. Took one half day to complete work. Kept working area clean and free of debris. Never guessed would have guessed that dirt removal, concrete cutting and window installation happened hours earlier. Very professional. Would highly recommend in the future.

Egress window guys were recommended to us from a family member who used them. Great experience! They were professional, super responsive, kind. The workers were quick, clean, and did great work. When our contractor arrived to start the rest of the basement remodel he noted that the workmanship and materials were quality and well done. I will be recommending Egress Window guys in the future!

Overall I am very happy with the work completed. All members of their team were friendly, helpful in answering my questions, and always on-time. The final product looks great and is an excellent addition to my basement. If I decide to add another window to my basement I will certainly be giving "Egress Window Guy" another call.

This is our second egress window in a year. This time we decided to have them take the dirt away. Digging out an egress window creates a big pile of dirt. First the hole was dug out, then the landscape block was installed. The wrong window was ordered so we had to wait a a bit for a new window. We were fine with that since they didn't cut the hole in the wall yet. Once the window was in, they were right out to finish the install. It looks great!

Excellent experience. Their price was reasonable compared to one of their competitors. Great value!

The owner wrote the contract for work and was excellent at explaining what and how the work would be done, and materials that would be used. The installation was excellent and the workers were great, despite the need to work in some drizzle part of the time. They were courteous, kind, considerate and had obviously been well trained and worked hard. The finished product is great, works and looks wonderful. I would have them back anytime if we ever need another egress window.

Overall, it went okay. There was only one guy to do all of the grunt work the first day due to a traffic problem. They didn't finish until 2 days later. Also, we thought we were clear on the design of the project with the sales guy but the person that started the job had additional questions about the design. We were a little confused by that.

They took three or four days to complete job. I grade them a B overall.

The crew arrived pretty much on time and they were very polite and respectful. They worked around my shrubbery insofar as possible and dug a few shrubs out by hand that I easily replanted. Inside, the work area was effectively curtained off and there was almost no dust outside the curtain. Outside, the window well is mounted only a couple inches above ground, minimizing the impact of the well, which is in the front of my house. The planned to do the entire job in one day, but partway into the job they found that an electrical wire ran right across the window space. They were able to put in the window, but they could not finish the interior sill and window frame until I had an electrician move the wire. After it was moved, they came out within a couple days to finish the job. It looks great and I'm glad I paid the extra $100 for the larger window.

Work was completed in a day. The 2-man crew was friendly and professional.

Punctual response to my email inquiry. Came over about a week later. Explained the process and costs, and answered all my questions. About two weeks later the crew came out and put in the window. There was some confusion about what my expectations were and the crew's instructions, but by the end of the day everything turned-out fine. Been three thunderstorms since they installed and it drains well. Looks nice and dramatically enhances my basement.

They came out and gave me an estimate; faxed the order to me and came out and installed the window the next week. It looks great. The crew was very good - on time, polite, kept me informed. Very professional.

Our daughter was moving back home and we wanted her basement room to be a safe one. Called Don Weld/The Egress Window Guy regarding installing an egress window and a proper shower in the basement to accommodate. I was worried about our elm tree in the front yard being damaged by earth moving equipment---but Don explained the process, and reassured us that they would be careful. The guys were on time, extremely neat and clean in every aspect of their work, and meticulous in ensuring the window and well area outside was level and true. The interior window work was done with the utmost care--they hung plastic to keep the dust from migrating into the rest of the house, and made sure everything was weather-tight. Very happy with the work. I waited until the end of winter to write this review, to give us time to discover any potential problems. There were no drafts through the winter, no moisture issues, no problems whatsoever. Extremely happy with the work, the pleasant demeanor of the workmen, the clean up (flawless) and the quality of the product they installed.

The install job went very well and we were very pleased with the job.

They were excellent. They were very professional and responsive. Their pricing was a little higher than other estimates, but we definitely got our money’s worth. I would definitely recommend them to others.

Best experience I have ever had with a contractor. Mark and his colleague, Al, were on time, did the work they agreed to do, and did a lot of extra work to save perennials.
