Description of Work: Egress Window Guy installed a standard egress window for us. They have a really nice option to save $ by allowing the homeowner to perform the initial measurements and send pictures of the job area all through their homepage. They promptly communicated, showed up on time and did a great job! I would definitely recommend this service and use them again.

Description of Work: We had an egress window installed where there wasn't an existing window. They got to our house at 8:00 am dug a hole in the ground to accommodate the window well, cut the hole in the foundation for the new window, installed it and we're cleaned up and finished by a few minutes past noon. We had a weather delay, but they ended up being able to fit us in a couple days later. A great experience working with them and really nice to have the extra daylight in the basement. I wouldn't hesitate to hire them again.

Description of Work: HOW DID IT GO? We are return customers having installed an egress window in our last home about 8 years ago. I was greatly impressed by the work 8 years ago and was not disappointed this time. WHAT DID WE HAVE DONE? We moved into our newer home the end of April 2015. The house has upstairs/downstairs fireplaces with no escape out of the basement except for one stairway in the middle of the house. With the addition of two beautiful egress windows, our house is now much safer than it was. We had two, new egress windows added to the below ground basement of our one story home. On the side of the house, a metal well was placed around the new window. Then, next to our front door, a wood, tiered well was put around a new window. The entryway is quite large so there was plenty of room. We did have to add a fence on one side to ensure no one accidentally falls in.

Description of Work: They replaced 2 basement windows with eggress windows and installed another eggress window on a block wall where there had been no window. They also redug two window wells for better drainage. In the basement they hung plastic booths so there was a minimal of concrete dust when they did their cutting. All the people from the first call to the last inspection helpful, informed and friendly.

Description of Work: Nick and John dug hole and cut a bigger opening in the block for a larger egress window. Installed and calked window. They finished the outside hole with treated lumber, and it looks great! They were very professional and polite. There was absolutely no mess when they were finished. I am extremely happy with the work they did and the look of my new window.

Description of Work: I arranged for "Sid" from this company to come out and give me an estimate at 7:30 a.m. today (Friday) for 1 egress window. I waited 35 minutes. Sid was a no show. The work was to be done at my parent's house so I had to drive across town before work to meet Sid there. What a pleasure driving there and not having Sid show up, and what a pleasure driving through rush hour to get back to work late. Very unprofessional. The other two companies that I called earlier in the week arrived 10 - 15 minutes early and were very professional. Egress Window Guy, poorly done!
