We purchased an Emerson ceiling fan-light unit from City West Fan Man (Eden Prairie). Doppler was one of the the recommended installers. Previous Angie's List reviews were favorable, so we decided to offer the job to Doppler. Though it appears it is a small, one-man business, the initial call was answered while electrician was on a job. (Called on a Thursday and asked to text details/preferred time slots; got a reply Monday early afternoon.) Though it was slightly surprising to be offered an installation slot with only 90 minutes' notice, it happened to work out for us. Tim arrived when stated (did say he could be up to a half-hour late), but got right to work. Though friendly and chatty, he was professional and clean. Price came in as estimated. We'd definitely consider Doppler for future similar jobs, and likely consider them for other/larger jobs.

Description of Work: Doppler removed to ceiling fixtures and installed two ceiling fans with light kits, and removed an old light kit and installed a new light kit on an existing fan. One of the fans was a difficult install and required bracing. A very good job and we were pleased.

I GOT TIM'S NAME FROM ONE OF THE COMPANIES THAT I PURCHASED A FAN FROM. HE CAME OUT FAIRLY SOON AND GAVE ME AN ESTIMATE BUT AFTER I GOT ANOTHER ESTIMATE, I CANCELED BECAUSE ANOTHER ELECTRICAN WAS LOWER.
Description of Work: I ASKED FOR AN ESTIMATE ON PUTTING IN TWO FANS; AND ANOTHER ESTIMATE FOR ADDITIONAL KITCHEN LIGHTING.

A ONE MAN FIRM. TIM DOES GREAT WORK AND IS VERY PERSONABLE. NOT ALWAYS AS RESPONSIVE AS YOU'D LIKE, BUT ONCE HE IS ON SITE HIS WORK IS TOP NOTCH. THE ACTUAL COST OF THE JOB WAS A LITTLE HIGHER THAN THE ESTIMATE, BUT THE TIME AND EFFORT HE PUT INTO THE JOB WAS MUCH MORE THAN HE ANTICIPATED. PRICE WAS FAIR.
Description of Work: CUT IN A NEW BOX & RAN WIRE IN MASTER BATHROOM FOR NEW CEILING FIXTURE. CUT IN NEW ELECTRICAL RECEPTACLE ON WALL IN HALLWAY, AND RAN WIRE FROM EXISTING RECEPTACLE.
