Stumpf's Tree Service

Wasn't there, but obviously done well!

This company was trolling our neighborhood back in August so we asked for a quote. We got a price of $1,200.00 for removal of a very large tree and two stumps. They told us they could get it done the next day. But, unfortunately, they never showed up. We called numerous times before finally getting a call back the NEXT DAY. They had nothing but lame excuses - couldn't find our phone number (what, no copy of the work order?), owner's wife gave him bad info, they had to get an oil change on the truck. BLAH BLAH BLAH. I would never consider giving them another chance and would certainly not recommend to friends/neighbors.

It was very excellent. I highly recommend them. I would use them over and over again. They were just fantastic.

The name of the company is Stumpf's, not Stumps. They were canvassing my neighborhood and I asked for a quote. The owner was summoned and appeared within minutes. We walked all around my yard examining the tree's and talking about what I wanted done. The owner was very knowledgeable and helpful and there was no high pressure. I thought about it for a few days and then called Stumpf's to agree to have the service done. I was unable to be home when the work was done although a friend was on site. The owner was not on site when the work was completed either but he calIed me several times throughout the day. He called to let me know when his workers would arrive, he called when they arrived and again when they were about half done and yet again when they were finished. My friend said the workers were very thorough and accommodating. He asked that 1 or 2 additional limbs be removed on a certain tree and the workers gladly complied. The yard was completely cleaned up and all the brush removed, I feel that the price for all the work done was very reasonable.

They were good. They are very flexible in working. They asked me to mark the trees and they took care of the rest of the tings. They were very professional in their approach. They were very safe in the way they did the job. I was not scared. I will definitely use them in the future.
