lawn treatment
+ -1 moreMy husband and I have been using Owatonna Groundsmasters for our lawn fertilization/treatment needs for approximately 6 of the last 8 years that we have lived in our current home. The estimates that they have provided to us in the past have always been free and we have always been please with their work each year. Their prices are reasonable and many years we have found them to actually be a tad bit less costly than several of their competitors when we were "price shopping." They even offer a pre-pay option (for multiple applications) that, if chosen, amounts to something like a 5% discount on each application. After each application, they do mark the yard with a "stay off lawn/no pet, children for 24 hours" sign and they also leave a "lawn spraying record" in the door for our review. The lawn spraying record indicates the date/time of their visit, the wind direction and speed at the time of application, the square footage treated, the applicator's name and license number, etc.
Description of Work: Owatonna Groundsmaster came out to our home today to complete a Fall fertilizer treatment on our lawn. They arrived while my husband and I were at work, but treated our lawn and then left a "lawn spraying record" document to let us know that they were here. Today's treatment was 1 of 4 or 5 that we requested for this year. Although not services performed today, we have also used Owatonna Groundsmasters in the past for lawn core aeration (to improve grass "rooting") and gypsum treatments (to loosen our compacted soil) and have also been happy with those services.
