Deml Heating & A/C

They found that the motor to the unit had quit. They did not have one with them, they had to go back to the warehouse to get a new one. They returned in about 30 minutes and installed the motor. Checked everything out to see that it was working properly and left. They took care to put covers on their shoes before entering the house, to avoid making footprints with their shoes.

Our central air unit was not providing cool air, we called Deml since they service York units. A technician was sent out within an hour of contact. Upon inspection of the unit it was determined that the compressor had burned out and since the unit was 17 years old and not efficient it was recommended that a new system be installed. We asked for a proposal and the technician gathered the data needed and said they would contact us. We contacted two other companies who came out and provided proposals the next day. We still had not heard back from Deml so we selected another brand without considering them. (We did finally receive a proposal but a week later)

Technician was polite and attempted to fix the problem. Told me my "furnace was just old and he couldn't do anything with it" and left. The furnace worked the same as it did before he came, nothing was fixed. When I got the bill in the mail, I called the business to ask about it. The woman who answers the phone THEN told me that they don't service my brand of furnace (Lennox) and so there was nothing they could do. She was very rude to me and hung up the phone on me after she yelled into the phone "don't ever call us again!!". Believe me I won't based upon HER rudeness. Again, the technician was polite and professional.
