They arrived with all of the product and the support devices necessary to complete the job. They were friendly, respectful, and very efficient in their work. The job was completed on time and just as it was described. They removed all of the debris from the removal and installation of the siding. The day the job was complete the company removed the debris trailer and the trailer used to form the siding. I would recommend this company to others and I would use them again if necessary.

We had used SSE once before to replace our kitchen window. We had a wonderful experience then so asked them back for this next job. The sales person, Art, was very helpful and showed up on time to give us a estimate and to measure the window to order it. He called us as promised and scheduled a time to install. I called the night before to confirm the start time. I explained that I was taking the day off from work and would move the dogs to boarding prior to the installers arrival. The morning of the scheduled install the installer did not show up. I called the sales person 4 times over the course of the day, I never really got a answer why the installer was not at my home. At 4pm the installer showed up (we had a 8am scheduled start time) and said he would start but be back the next day to do the work, After 30 minutes he left for the day. He returned the next day and worked, but left multiple times to buy supplies?! Once again he was a no-show the following day (not feeling well we were told later) but we had not phone call telling us that he would not be there as scheduled, The last day he finished the window and only then discovered that the company had sent the wrong piece to repair the door, He worked for about an hour on the sliding door to make it more usable till the piece we needed arrived. We were surprised when the salesman called a couple hours later asking us to pay the remaining balance. The figure he asked for was higher then the quote. When we asked him for a breakdown he explained that the installer's quote of $65/hr to repair our door had a three hour minimum. That had not been communicated to us prior to the work being done. When our invoice arrived a couple days later it was marked all work is complete! I guess that means if we want him to finish the door with the piece that the company sent us the we would be looking at another $195! We will not be asking SSE back to finish the job! After they left the day of the window install I found a nail on the carpet and in the kitchen on the tile. A chunk of metal from the door repair was in the drive outside the garage door as well as a screw sticking up from a plastic piece. Either would of wrecked a tire if we would of run over them. Gates to our deck and both gates to the yard were left open each day. We have dogs and I had specifically asked that they be closed before leaving. The window that was installed is of good quality but the installation was not! There was a one inch gap on one side of the window after the new window was in. The installer was not prepared to address the gap between the window and the siding till my husband pressed the matter. Not a professional job! We will not be using them for the rest of the replacement windows in our home. ,

They did a beautiful job and we very prompt. Responded to all my questions and followed up to be sure that I was satisfied.

Spotless Seamless Exteriors did an amazing job. We just had our siding, roofing and leaf away gutters installed. Everything turned out great and far exceeded my expectations. All crews were professional, friendly and knowledgeable answering all of my questions or concerns. Alex was extremely helpful with working through my insurance claim and making the whole process easy. The products are high quality and very durable. I would highly recommend SSE to anyone looking for great service, professionalism and a superior product.

The siding replacement process was totally seamless. I was amazed how quickly the team worked, despite freezing winter temps and snow. When questions did arise, Alex, the president, was easy to communicate with and was able to explain things in a way that made sense to me. Our siding looks phenomenal and I know we'll appreciate it for many many years. I'd recommend Spotless and Seamless to anyone!

My wife and I first became aware of Spotless & Seamless Exteriors at the Minneapolis Home & Garden Show, and Steve Roth was great at answering all our questions about steel siding and the installation process. We followed up to get an estimate for our home. Again, Steve was very professional...educating us about the materials and process and explaining our options. Certainly, siding is an investment, and we felt SSE gave a competitive bid. Steve encouraged us to drive by some of the previous homes in our area where they'd done siding work, to see how the siding colors looked, as well as the overall job. We also liked that we were working with a local family-owned company. On the first day, they arrived with a trailer to haul away the old, tired-looking 28-year-old siding. They then cut and measured the new steel siding on site. The entire crew was very friendly, happily answering our questions and offering recommendations on a few installation areas. We were impressed with their meticulous attention to detail, daily progress, and efforts at leaving a clean job site each day. In addition, they were able to schedule the siding project and complete it a week before our wedding weekend, just in time for a Sunday open house in which we we'd invited 75 people. With the new steel siding, new stonework and professional installation by SSE, our late 1980s home looks like a new house!

I will use them again and they were professional.

*** Update 3/9/2015 After some time I was contacted by Art about this. The owner of the company wanted to make this right so they offered to come out and replace the gutter to what I had originally expected. I am now happy with the way the gutter looks on our house. I have adjusted this over all rating from a D rating to a C . I would have given them a B- if I could but that is not an option. I am also leaving this bottom of this review. Altho I am happy with the way the gutters look now...I am still not happy with the way things were handled at the beginning.. but atleast they did the right thing. *************** I asked them to come out and give me an estimate. I was a few minutes late coming home from work and Art was at my house walking around as he was on time for the appointment we had set. He seemed rather annoyed that I wasnt on time. I told him where we were thinking we wanted/ needed gutter as the previous owners had not had gutter installed in some places that they should have which caused the front stoop of our house to sink some. The places I told him were to give me a bid on the side of our garage and a peak that sits just above our steps where the stoop had sunk and to give me an extra estimate on the back side of our garage. He went and sat in his truck and wrote an estimate as I tended to my 2 year old son in the house. When he came back and gave me the estimate i thought it to be a little on the high side compared to the other quotes I had received. (turned out the were actually middle of the road after a couple of more quotes came in) We decide to use them because of their reputation on Angie's list. I assumed that Art had measured out the Garage and the peak as that was where we wanted to install and we figured we would do gutter in the back after we have our patio built but that wont be until next year so we decided to wait. I called Art and told him we would use him and he came out the next day. We went over the paperwork and I gave him a check for half the work as a down payment. On the paperwork he had written down 7 feet of gutter on the peak of our house and 40 feet of gutter along the garage and downspouts..He called me the following Monday and said he was having his guy come out and install the gutters... I was excited that he was getting done so quickly and thanked him for that. When I got home I was no so excited anymore. The gutter on the Garage looks Fantastic!! The gutter on the peak of the house... was cut about 3-4 feet short of hitting the end of the peak, It looks cheap, I sent Art an Email with a picture of the sub par work and asked him why it was like that? did he just simply mismeasure it? I would not have a problem with paying to have had the extra couple of feet added on had they called and said something to me about it.. instead it was just left that way.. He never responded to my email... so I waited a few days... a week and then I got a phone call from him... I was at work so I was not able to speak to him but he left a voicemail asking how i wanted to take care of the remainder of my bill... HMMMM i thought how about we worry about you not answering my email before I finish paying.. I send him another email that night asking if he had received the email and could he please respond to me. SURPRISE I got another phone call from him a few days later..... asking about payment again.... yet no follow email... I called him back immediately as I have a very demanding job during the day so it can be tough for me to make personal calls during business hours.. When I called him back he said ... " well I was calling because I need to know how you want to handle the remaining balance of your bill" I said to him " Well when were you going to follow up on my email?" Art said " oh yeah i didn't follow up on your email because that was "WHAT WE DISCUSSED WHEN HE WAS HERE, was the water was going to come down the backside of the peak." I said i didnt recall that I remembered telling him that we wanted gutter on the peak and on the garage.. not that i wanted only 2/3rds of the peak covered.. he then told me that was how he remembered it and he started to sound extremely annoyed and very defensive... I am sorry but if i put out that I want gutter on a spot and he didnt climb up or estimate it correctly when he bid the job,... that is his fault not mine.... i just told him to send me an invoice..... as i was rather ticked off at this point... dont answer my emails... but call about payment.. I am sorry and said because the gutter does really look nice and the quality of work on the gutters looks to be fantastic... however their p*** poor service and attitiude totally lost any future business from us and i will never recommend them to anyone

From start to finish this company exceeded our expectations!! Spotless and Seamless Exteriors delivered as promised on quality of workmanship and products used. We are 100% satisfied and recommend this contractor to friends and relatives.

The president Alex Petrashov was easy to work with and very helpful dealing with the insurance company to obtain replacement coverage for damage from the hail storm. He spent time to answer my many questions and provided insight and ideas for changes on the window surrounds. The project was scheduled to start at the end of September (2 months after the agreement was signed) and was started only a few days later than promised. The whole project was completed in a week. The shingle replacement on the steep (8/12 pitch) roof was completed by a different company they have used for many years. The crew consisted of five men and they were able to complete the garage and house roofs in one long 12 hour day. They started at 8:00am in the morning and finished a little after 8:00pm that Monday evening. Their work was interrupted by some rain during the day. The Spotless and Seamless crew of five men began the morning after the shingles were replaced. The tear-off of the old siding, soffits, fascia, and gutters took one day. They spent 5 days installing the new siding, soffits, fascia, window surrounds, gutters, and leaf guards. The siding was seamless steal rolled out and cut to length from a machine in their trailer. A separate trailer with different machine was brought on site the last day to install the seamless steel gutters and leaf guards. The installation crew is very friendly and I spoke with them several times during the installation. They provided good answers to all of my many questions and wanted to make sure I was happy with the work as it progressed. They were aware of and compiled with all of the building codes. The crew was great to work with regarding the new window surrounds. I was concerned about achieving the look I wanted. They worked with me on the first window to get my feedback. They wanted to be sure I was pleased with the look. They sent an electrician to reinstall the outside lights and electrical outlets with covers that met code. The high quality materials and installation provided a beautiful exterior to our home. Many of my neighbors have stopped to say how much they like the new look to our home. This product is strong and durable so I know it will last many years. They did a yard clean up at the end of each day using a strong magnet to pick up small metal pieces and nails. Alex and his crew are a great to work with and do high quality professional work per the latest building codes. I would highly recommend them. I am the second home in our neighborhood that they have installed new siding on. They will be starting on a third home in our neighborhood in November since this family liked their work and the look of seamless steel on my home and the first house.

Crew showed up every morning at 7:30. They were a hard working and friendly group of guys. Anytime something came up that needed attention they explained to me what needed to be done and why. My questions were answered every day as I examined their work. All rot was replaced, mold was cleaned and sprayed. Nothing was covered up. We had trouble with the flashing not being properly installed by the original builder in some spots, these were all remedied by Spotless & Seamless. I was informed that the gutters that were previously on the house were also improperly installed. To properly direct the water, they would need to be removed and reinstalled. I appreciated that they were pointing things out and not just sticking things on the house that would show problems years down the road. This included right down to the doorbell that was broken. Doesn't make sense to put a broken doorbell back on 30K worth of new siding. They also replaced a window in our bathroom. My only complaint would be the small metal shrapnel that is left in the landscaping and lawn. It's just part of getting seamless siding I guess. The magnet they used got most of it, but some aluminum pieces were still left behind and the pieces that were stepped on and pushed into the grass didn't get picked up. Very minor issue in my opinion.

Spotless and Seamless did an outstanding job. Alex (one of the owners) did an excellent job of explaining the proposal and answering our questions. Their price was less than the bid we had for precut steel siding. Alex stopped by each day to see if we had questions and make sure the project was moving along on schedule. They started on time and completed when they promised. The crew was excellent and asked questions as they went to make sure all the details were correct. They did a number of small repairs and extra things as they went and did not quibble about more money. Incredible service in today's world. The stone work is excellent as was the roof. The house looks like it was built yesterday instead of almost 35 years ago. Even after it was completed, Alex stopped by to make sure everything met our expectations. By far the best contactor we have worked with in the Twin Cities and we don't hesitate to recommend Spotless and Seamless.

The Quality, Service, and Professionalism I experienced with SSE was simply outstanding. First of all, Alex was patient and spent a great deal of up-front time with me, educating me and guiding me and providing me with a variety of options that would best fit my needs -- specifications, color choices, pricing, aesthetic options, etc.... The showroom in Maple Grove was also a great way for me to visualize options. Second, the SSE installation team was unmatched --- all skilled craftsmen, meticulously neat, and respectful of my time and privacy. ( I received so very many compliments of SSE's work from my neighbors ) Even with such a "messy" undertaking as exterior siding, the team totally cleaned "everything" after each day's work. In addition, finally, I was extremely pleased with the "responsiveness" of the entire SSE Team --- When I had questions or needed clarification or follow-up on any issue, I received a response almost immediately - within hours, at the latest. They all wanted to make sure I was 100 % satisfied. Finally, the installation and the product lines carried are of the highest quality. I must admit that I am surprised - in retrospect - that I have had such a great contractor experience. I look forward to working with Spotless and Seamless again in the near future. If you are looking for a fair, honest, high caliber contractor, SSE should be your first call !!!!

When the salesman came I asked for a quote on vinyl siding. He spent a LOT of time "educating" me on the reasons why I didn't want vinyl and quoted me seamless steel instead. Steel wasn't what I wanted and I thought I made that clear at the start. The price was also very high so I went with another company that quoted me what I requested.

Alex and his team did a great job. Our home was hail damaged from the previous summer and Alex was very patient with us and helped us work through the insurance claims process for replacing the hail damaged exterior of our home. The work was very well done and we are very happy with the results.

In retrospect, I could have saved myself a lot of time and just accepted the bid from Spotless and Seamless and been done. But no, since siding is not cheap, I pulled a list of 3 respected contractors from Angie's list and then worked with them to get bids. In the beginning I was very uneducated about siding, but felt like I knew quite a bit when I signed up with SSE. I ended up with quotes on vinyl, steel, manufactured siding as well as Hardy. My house is not a traditional house--more of a contemporary design plus it had vertical panels on it--and according to all the bidders would require a LOT of squares, i.e. money. In the end, I had one quote for vinyl, which was the only bid cheaper than Steve's from SSE, and after talking to all these guys, and looking at houses, I decided vinyl was not for me. SSE had a several page list of addresses where they had installed the siding that I could drive by and look at, as opposed to trying to get addresses from many of the other contractors was like pulling teeth. I was happy with what I saw on these houses, so decided to go for it with SSE. They gave me a reasonable estimated time when they would be able to start work. They stuck to that, and even worked around my work schedule so I could be home when they started. The crew was on site every possible day where it wasn't raining and they completed the job as promised. It is a joy to come in the driveway and see my house now! (I just need to finish the garage doors, decks, etc. so it is all done.)

I consult in the construction industry so I'm cynical at best when dealing with General Contractors. SSE was able to address all my questions and concerns up front and then they delivered exactly what they said they would. The sales process itself was refreshing. There was no pressure and they took the time to address all of our questions and concerns. They spent a fair amount of time with my husband initially at the house, continually responded to his questions on the phone and subsequently spent more time in their office (on a Saturday) addressing my questions. We never got the 'sign on the dotted line' speech which was nice. They were respectful of our process as buyers. When they showed up to do the work, the crew was amazing. First, when they worked...they worked. There wasn't any standing around or intermittent days on an off the job (even through cold weather). The crew was polite and respectful asking questions along the way to make sure we were happy with the results. Additionally, there was at least one time when the crew themselves took a step back, looked at something and tore it off and re-did the run. It was clear the crew was committed to quality and took pride in their work. When the job was completed, Alex came out to meet with the Inspector and my husband. Again, he spent a fair amount of time reviewing the work and gave us time to ask questions. Additionally, he brought a lien waiver which he knew was important to me. After the entire job was completed and closed, I kept looking at something over the front door (the color of the trim). It was bothering me and ultimately I decided I wanted it to match the siding. It was literally 2-three foot pieces. We called them and within a week they were out here and had made the change. As for price, I don't really know what is excellent and what is good. I know this, every time I look at my house I say to myself....money well spent! Overall, Seamless and Spotless Exteriors is a quality organization that offers a quality product and we would certainly use them in the future or recommend them without hesitation. It is worth noting that they were a referral to us from a friend.

Alex and his team started on time and were very punctual and professional. They assisted in every facet of this process, from helping with color and stone selection and were very helpful in assisting us with our insurance agency. Their product is exceptional, as is their commitment to detail and overall professionalism. The work they did was equivalent to the promises made by their sales representative Steve, and our house looks completely new and updated. Many of our neighbors have paid compliments to both the materials and their work. I would highly recommend this company to anyone looking for new siding or external house work. They made a very complicated and stressful project easy to deal with and we couldn't be happier with the results.

In July 2013, I used this company to install seamless aluminum gutters on my home. I have previously reviewed that job. At the time, I had no intention or need to hire them again in the foreseeable future. One month later, my neighborhood was hit with golf ball sized hail. I could clearly see the recently installed gutters had been dented, but my greater concern was the condition of my roof. Since I had used this company just over a month ago and was happy with the experience, I decided to call them for an estimate for both the roof and the gutters. Because I have previously reviewed this company for installation of gutters, I will concentrate my comments about roofing. I once again dealt with a salesman named Art. I have found Art to be mild mannered and easy to deal with. He is definitely not the aggressive high pressure type and that factored into my decision to give my business to his company. Art was flexible in the time he came out to my house and was willing to change the date and time of the original appointment. That allowed me to have both him and the adjuster from my insurance company there at the same time. Art and the adjuster walked all 4 sides of my home before ending on the roof. I walked with them and Art informed me that his company was a general contractor and performed a larger scope of building work then I was aware of. I fully intended to make some of the storm damage repairs myself. Art gave me some advice about the repair work based on his experience. Art also helped point out damage to my insurance adjuster on areas of the home that Art's company was not going be involved in working with. My insurance adjuster was easy to work with, but it was great to have Art there to help me with the process. I got a check from my insurance company the same day as the inspection and immediately gave my business to Art. I told Art that I was concerned that the current vents in my roof were inadequate and he suggested installing a ridge vent at the peak of the roof which I agreed to. A crew came out to replace my roof about a week later. They used a trailer on wheels to haul away the old shingles etc. That was a plus as it was only in my driveway during the time of the work as opposed to a dumpster that might have been dropped off days in advance and hauled away days after the work was finished. The trailer being on wheels also meant there was less of a chance to damage the asphalt driveway. The crew showed up about mid day and finished around Noon the following day. They took reasonable care not to damage my property and clean up afterwards. I found maybe 10-20 nails in my yard in the days afterwards, but half of those were in among landscaping rocks and were hard to notice. I really have no complaints about the cleanup efforts as I expected to find many more nails than I did. I was told that the crew that did my house were not Spotless and Seamless employees. Spotless and Seamless instead sub contracted the work to them. I was told they were the same crew that Spotless and Seamless worked with to do all of their roofing work. That would make them a locally based crew and not one of the many storm chasers that descended on my neighborhood. The only minor critique I would have of their efforts would be they continued working on my roof a full hour after sunset. The noise did not bother me that late at night, but they employed no lights that I saw and wondered how they could possibly adequately see what they were doing. I paid 50% before the job started and the remainder when all work was completed. The price listed above is only for the roofing portion of the work completed.

We were extremely pleased that the siding could be put back up the same day. We did ask for an estimate for the residing of this side of the home and were pleased with the estimate and will have the work done this spring. Very flexible with a down payment and time line for the work to be completed. We had used Spotless & Seamless in 2006 for a new roof and decided to try them again for siding. Everyone is very professional and responsive. It was nice to work with the same people that we had back then like Art. We had a great experience then, we had another today and anticipate the same when the siding is done this spring.

My complaints were resolved to my satisfaction. These grades on this review pertain to the corrective action taken by the company.

Art a GAF certified contractor like the others came out to look at the job Barnhouse did ( please leave Barnhouse in for others) on my roof and to give me an estimate on fascia I needed to have done all around my house. He said that the Barnhouse roofers had only put drip edging in the back of the house and not on the sides, front, or garage. Brett from Lindus Construction one of the other companies I had out or Art went into more detail and did not know how this could possibly be missed, or why this was not done do to the fact it was a natural part of the process. It's put on after the weather piece is laid, then the drip edge is nailed on and then the shingles are put over it. The drip edge is very important because it keeps the rain etc. from getting under the shingles and causing damage. Because Barnhouse ( please leave name in for others) was paid already by the ins. company the drip edge would have to come out of my pocket and would now need to be put on differently and would cost more for labor per Art. He would only go down $76.00 from his estimate he gave me and it was much more than the last company I had come out. So I decided to keep looking even though Art gave me 15% off for the fascia and the fascia cost was lower, I had to keep looking.

Our home was built in 1925. While maintained, it definitely needed some serious work. We looked at various options and contractors. We were looking for a contractor that could handle unexpected situations when working with a home of this age. Trust was paramount. This company definitely earned our trust! The workmanship reflects a pride in their craft. This was not simply ?another house? to them. Communication was excellent. With regular e-mail and telephone contact, we knew the status of the project. This project was actually two contracts. After seeing the quality of their work, we proceeded to have them replace the storm (outside) windows. It is important to understand this is a general contractor, capable of any project. No project is too large or small. We had a kitchen door that was in very poor shape. Replacing this door was not simple, as the frame was not squared. Being craftsmen, they knew how to properly prepare and install a new door. Property was cleaned-up each evening. Workers never smoked or used profanity. Each employee is focused on producing a quality result that they can take pride in. Our project manager (Art Kingsrud) even periodically checked with our neighbors to see if debris was on their property. Art was easy to work with. He listened to us and used his experience to create a result better than we could ever have expected!

We're very pleased overall with the job done by Spotless & Seamless. Alex and his crew worked super hard, and their attention to detail was very evident (and appreciated!) The siding portion took about five days total. Really love the no-seam product, which is attractive looking and will require minimal maintenance. The color selection was perfect for us. The decorative stone took just a few hours to install, and really accented the whole job. We had one small curving section of old decorative wood we tried to clad that just didn't work out, and they removed it and didn't even charge us for the materials. Great service. We have received many nice compliments from neighbors. We would definitely use Spotless & Seamless Exteriors again, but our new siding should last for a lifetime! For a messy, major remodeling project, we're very happy with how things turned out.

My home did not have gutters. I was looking for someone to install a very basic setup. The installation required a straight 45 ft run on both the back and front of the house and a downspout in all 4 corners. My home is 2 stories tall. There are no turns involved in the gutter system. I saw this company working in my neighborhood on a siding project and decided to give them a call. They were prompt in coming to my house to give me an estimate. I worked with a salesman named Art. He gave me a bid and was very low pressure in his presentation with me which I appreciated. About a week later, I called Art back and told him I decided to accept the bid. We meet a few days later and I paid 1/2 the cost before the job began and the remainder after the job was completed. Art estimated the job would take 2 employees about 4 hours. The company was fairly caught up at the time and the work was completed less than a week later. I knew that I would be at work at the time of the installation. As a result, I can not offer any opinion about the workers or how they conducted themselves. I can say that when I came home, the job looked great. I could see no signs of debris left behind in my yard.
