Description of Work: Installed steel siding on our house and new downspouts. The work was very professional and very high quality though contact and communication was sometimes challenging. Work began in early December 2014 and the major work was done before Christmas. Cleanup took place after the snow was gone in the spring. The punch list and final payment is where we had our problems some of the downspouts lacked the hinges we ordered to make mowing easier and color samples were requested repeatedly, We were eventually given a piece of siding in the correct color but the hinges weren't installed until this past weekend and we are now awaiting the final bill.

Description of Work: Replaced out aging 45 year old redwood vertical tongue and groove siding with steel seamless vertical siding. The siding starts out as a 6" roll and their machine forms it into continuous pieces of siding that run the length of the wall. Part of our house is round and they were able to install the siding on the curve of the wall as well. We had two other contractors no bid the job because of the round part of the house. They did a great job wrapping the parts of the wall with custom formed steel where the siding wasn't installed. We thinking of replacing the part of the house that is stucco with steel siding.

Description of Work: I had hideous vinyl siding from the 1960s that was toasted in a storm. Instead of replacing the section that was destroyed, I took the opportunity to upgrade and did a lot of research on various types of siding. I settled on Spotless and Seamless for their seamless steel siding and I love the results. Also, with the insulation board and no seams in the siding, our home is so much more comfortable in both winter and summer. Alex and his team did a great job. I did have a challenge for a follow up issue -- another tree came down a year later and ripped up another section that needed to be replaced. Alex was difficult to reach to get it scheduled in, but they did get out here and the repair job is perfect - you can't even tell where the tree came down, and Alex assured me that they have resolved the scheduling issues. Our home went from looking like the oldest and most worn, to one of the nicer homes on the block. I would definitely recommend them, and use them again.

Description of Work: We were looking to reside our home and I was referred to alex from a cement contractor friend BOZ construction in 2009. We had taken other bids prior to sitting with alex but after we went around to homes that SSE had sided we choose to proceed with SSE. Our home had cedar siding on it that was in good shape we just wanted to go maintenance free. SSE did not remove the cedar as I choose to keep it on for insulation factor. We have a large home with a stand alone three car garage and shed. SSE did an outstanding job they even customized our shed doors to look fabulous. I have dealt with a lot of contractors being in the restaurant business and I cant say enough as to how good SSE is in there commitment to quality work. So now we have a new looking home - O wait, its Tuesday the day after memorial day 2011 we have a 117 inch cottonwood tree fall on the center of our house! ya here we go again not even 2 years later I am calling alex to come and a**** the damage needless to say we had to remove the whole roof on the total house so there goes the siding on over 3/4s of the house. We were worried that matching would be a problem so our garage and shed and any not damaged siding wouldn't stand out. It took just over 6 months to complete the project from the time the tree fell to the time we moved back in and SSE was just about the last contractor to finish. Back in May when i called alex i knew they would be right in the heart of there busy season and i was worried they couldn't get to our job and of course the contractor we used to do the remodel was worried about not using there own siding company. Well alex was great he assured me and them they would get to us when we were ready for residing. They were right on time and did a outstanding job again!! The siding matches so perfect you couldn't tell anything happened. So since the roof had to come off so did the gutters and alex said he had the best leaf free gutters that would also match perfect. Alex showed me a sample gutter, I was content the leaf's would not get in the gutter but I was a bit unsure that the new type of gutter he showed me would preform well enough to keep the water away from the house. He assured me they would. Again no problem they work great they are amazing as to how they work because looking at them you would never believe it but the first big rain i was out with an umbrella viewing the out come they do work great!. So thanks Alex you made a believer out of me and thank you for the great service you have given us!! if any one your customers has a dought give them my number there welcome to come see our home.  + 0 moreThe overall experience with this company was very good. The salesperson was responsive to my inquiry and made it to all of our appointments on time. He did a good job of explaining the product and the installation procedure. Steve was also helpful in picking out colors accents for the siding. He was also available for questions throughout the project. When the crew came out they took care in taking the old siding off of the house. They had the city inspect the project along the way as required. The new siding looks great. Lines are straight and they did a good job on the finish work around the doors, windows, outlets, light fixtures, faucets, vents ... etc. The project was completed in the time promised and the on site crew kept the area clean every day. I am very pleased with how my house looks and the workmanship of Spotless and Seamless.
Description of Work: Spotless and Seamless Exteriors removed the old siding from my house and installed seamless steel siding. The company also did repair work as needed to any water damage to the sheathing underneath the old siding. Company also covered soffit areas.

 + -1 moreI found SSE through Angie's list after getting bids from a couple other companies (and finding that a competitor I was considering had multiple bad reviews on the List). Art, from SSE, impressed me from the first visit. I needed new siding and had spoken with a number of siding companies looking at fiber cement/James Hardie, vinyl, and then steel. SSE provided an impressive five page (small print) list of references. After debating on which product to go with and driving by several references from each company, SSE's prior work stood out well above the rest as looking clean, sharp, and, best of all, without seams along the long walls. On top of it, their bid was competitive with the vinyl siding bids I'd received. Art and Vitaly from SSE worked with me to find ways to update the entire exterior of the house and detached garage while trying to maintain the character of an older Victorian-style house. I felt that this was a good balance between keeping the character and appearance of the house, while adding a maintenance-free exterior that wouldn't require scraping and painting all the time like wood. The project took over a month to complete. This was quite a bit longer than SSE or I had expected, but the crew worked hard, was there almost every day after starting the project, and took care of all of the detail work with the many corners, windows, and other features of the house that required extra work to finish properly. During the project, the leaves fell from the trees and we had the first snowfall, so cleanup was difficult, but the crew made an extra trip or two to make sure it was all finished and cleaned up at the end. After the work was done, the house looks sharp and new. I would hire them again without hesitation if my next house needs siding.
Description of Work: SSE overhauled the exterior of my 123 year old house (built in 1887). They refinished the foundation, removed two layers of siding, put up new soffit/fascia, and then put up seamless steel siding up - custom bending it to look like clapboard wood like what would have been the original siding.

Answered every detailed question I had, brought lots of samples including discontinued colors that I requested and very clear on everything. Designed in improvements to my current roof vents, etc. Crew that came was punctual, efficient, and cleaned up everything. Price was excellent too! Would definitely use them again and already referred them to others. I also had them do siding, windows and gutters, and that was exceptional as well.

 + 1 moreMy experience with them has been excellent so far. The person that came out has been very helpful and personable. He has been upfront about costs. He hasn't put too much pressure on us and has offered some suggestions. Update on Aug 10 2014. I was not aware that I had not finished this review after completion, so would like to do so now. Spotless and Seamless did the painting job and door replacement. They used an excellent quality of paint, and all seemed to go well. HOWEVER, they painted all of our windows shut, and didn't let us know they had so we could have at least opened them to let them dry before they were sealed. They came out, but just ran an instrument (putty knife?) in the places where the paint was sealed. There are still windows that can't be opened. Although other aspects of the job were fine, this awful situation with our windows was way beyond disappointing.
Description of Work: They are going to paint the house and do a small area of soffits that need to be done. They are also going to repair and install some screen doors.
