He was prompt, professional, very capable and reasonably priced. My experience with him was very positive and I would recommend him to anyone.

Called Tim with Markham on a Monday with a need to have deck repaired by Friday due to event at my home that weekend in which deck would be used. He was responsive, called his deck repair specialist and had things figured out for a repair that Thursday. Knowing I had a need for the deck to be fixed by Saturday, they scheduled the repair so they had an extra day in case something needed additional work or time. I may or may not have paid to much for the repair but in this case, it was that they got the work done in a tight timeframe. Further, the work was done well, neatly, and all I had to do was stain the new posts.

Tim returned my call quickly on a weekend when the AC failed in our house. He made several visits, the first two adding refrigerant and then replacing the coil and finally the condenser. This system has been a problem for several years and another company was unable to fix it to our satisfaction. Tim has showed tenacity and determination and I believe the problem is finally solved.

Everything was prompt and professional. Tim immediately identified the issues and expeditiously repaired them. Excellent.

Serviceman made made the necessary fixes and adjustments and made further recommendations for how to help the unit cool more effectively in the future.

Tim came to my house and looked at the projects I needed done, then got back to me a few days later with an estimate. We agreed on a start date that worked for both of us. Tim sent Craig and Jason to work on my projects. They were very professional, courteous, and friendly. There were a few glitches with my projects, and they went over these with me beforehand to help figure out what was the best way to proceed. The finished product(s) look great and the work was completed in half a day, sooner than expected. Tim responded to every call and/or e-mail I sent him. He and/or his employees showed up when they said they would. I am very happy with this company, the work they did, and their professionalism and will be hiring them again for my next project. I highly recommend them.

We have used Tim numerous times over the past two years on our property in Maple Grove. Being unable to sell the property before relocating we have had to rent it and have incurred multiple issues in the home . Tim has been the one ray of sunshine in all of the stress! He is trustworthy, knowledgeable, wise, skilled, honest, and fair. He gets back with us immediately when a problem arises, explains everything in great detail (in layman's terms for us), and gives us a fair quote on work that is always superior.

I would rate them highly overall, which is why I use them regularly. They are professional.

Tim is a nice professonal person. He arrived on time and did spend time on what I would need. He suggested having his electrican come out because of electrial issues. We set up a date and time, However, the day before his electrician was to come out, he called and said his electrician would charge $180.00 for electrial review. I cancelled, I since have gotten bids free of charge. In Response to Company: The response Markham Maintence was completely false. We did not dicuss estimates or cost of any kind, in fact when he called to say his electrican wanted $185.00 to come out, he then said he would give me an estimate on the furnance and other issues after his electrician was here. Also, I did receive bids on upgrading the electric from other companys who did spend time and explained what needed to be done. After reading some of his other reviews it seems he may be a little shady.

I was able to bleed the boiler myself due to his instruction. I like that he respected my desire to do it myself, instead of scaring me about the pressure in the pipes and making it seem too dangerous for someone without his knowledge to do. My past experience with plumbers have all been negative. I am very happy with Markham Maintenance.

Great. This is a top notch outfit. Always on time, he wears boot covers in the home, and really stayed after the job to make sure it was done right.

I sent an email and had a response the next day. We scheduled the service for two weeks out and it was what I expected.

Went well. Tim coordinated the project for us and delivered on time.

I called Tim at about 9 am asking if he could come out same day to fix my furnace which was not blowing heat. He told me he would be able to be here in about an hour. He was right on time, looked at the furnace and determined the issue right away and had the replacement part on hand. He was done with the repair in about 30 minutes.

It sucked. The owner Timothy Hamre came out to my home to assess the needed repairs and gave me a quote within a week. I negotiated to a fair price then three days before beginning the job he tried getting me to pay him in cash. I told him I couldn't do that because it would not allow me to deduct the expense for taxes. I told him I sympathize that I don't like to pay income taxes either but that it is illegal for him to make this request. He immediately replied and said he wasn't asking for cash trying to be illegal but because he had run out of company checks and wanted to get his guys paid immediately, and in the same email he told me he would not be doing the job because he got a bigger job. He did this after settling on the price and I was waiting for them to show up two weeks later. I was a carpenter for thirty years and I told him, you can't b******* a BULLSHITTER. So they are trying to get away with not paying taxes and I can only think of three different reasons to do this. Illegal aliens, child support/ alimony or robbing the government. And since he was an a** after the fact I am very glad he didn't touch my home. He'll get what he deserves. Here is what he said in his emails; Tim; Since we significantly reduced the price on this, I'd like to do this work on a cash basis, if that's OK with you. Me; Since the investment into the house is tax deductible I need to put it on credit card so I can easily claim the deduction. On Angie's List it says you take credit cards is that correct? Tim; Yes I do, but unfortunately that negates the purpose of any cash transaction as anything going into my account (which is where my credit card transactions go) is monitored and therefore it doesn't help much as far as giving me any benefit. Also, I get charged a percentage fee for credit card transactions which further reduces the actual amount I get for the work. Me; I truly am sympathetic, I hate to pay taxes also but I am not able to help break the law because of my devotion to God. Tim: WHOOAAAA, James! Nobody said anything about breaking the law or not paying taxes. Somehow we got way off base here. I 'm just out of company checks and I know since this job has been discounted significantly, my guys will want to be paid quickly. Actually while we were negotiating price, I took on a large remodeling job in St.Louis Park and being as it's late in the season, I don't think I'll get time to get to this this year before it starts getting cold. What kind of idiot tries to deny doing something when the evidence is right there on the same email? Get someone else to work on your houses. You'll be safer.

Tim arrived on time, cleaned and checked the 26 year old furnace, replaced the corroded contacts and remounted the motor capacitor which was hanging lose on the concrete floor. He said it was in surprisingly good shape for such an old furnace but suggested that he had hints of intermittent failure in the motor relay or motor controller. He took time to explain everything. His rate was $99.95 for the cleaning and inspection. He charged $25 more for the additional work. I think this was very fair for the additional time he spent.

Tim is very knowledgeable and professional. He did not try to oversell. He provided options, benefits and concerns around different approaches with the choice available. It was a no pressure sell. He has opinions based on years of servicing units, and that is what I was looking for vs. some person selling a single brand. I would highly recommend Tim to anyone needing to either repair or replace any HVAC system. I had complete trust with him being in my home.

I neede the help on Saturday and no one seem available. But Markham Maintenance Co, LLC promptly answered my phone call and came for service almost immediately. It was a very good service experience.

The price was worth it. They said that we should buy a new dishwasher in the future, so we?re working on that. He was very knowledgeable and didn?t try to sell us anything else. I'm happy with their services.

They came out to do a bid and the set up an appt for a couple of days later. They were flexible with the scheduling which was helpful since we were having windows replaced at the same time. I liked the guys who worked on the house. They did a good job, cleaned up well, etc. The clean up is especially important to us because we have a dog who eats inappropriate things.

Great. I was really pleased that he came out on a Sunday to look over my ice dam damage. Unfortunately, I had estimators coming out all week and chose another company mid week, however I would highly recommend Tim and his company to others.

Nice guy over the phone, but he admitted he wasn't qualified for the repair of the brand of dryer we own. It was nice that he didn't charge for the trip out and the diagnosis time.
