Although it took a while to be able to settle on a date for the work to begin, Tim and his crew worked around my hectic schedule. I didn't have enough planking for the deck, and he and Chris worked with me to get that re-ordered and then came back to finish installing it. I found their work to be excellent and would recommend them without reservation to others. In fact, when I sent off the payment, I asked Tim if he could come back and check on a pump on my furnace.

Very helpful over the phone. Prompt in returning calls and working with our schedule. Pleasant on the job and did quality work.

Tim Ham re was very thorough. He gave me an accurate quote for the work, communicated with me several times prior to the date and arrived on time. His work was done thoroughly and looks very professional. I would not hesitate to use him again for my "neverending list" of repairs!

Tim answered the phone when I called and was able to talk to me right away about the work that I needed to get done. He quoted me some prices which I thought sounded fair so I then asked him when he could come to do these projects. He said that he was right in the middle of a big project but that he would be available next week and would give me a call. I was a bit hesitant with this set up because he didn't want to schedule an exact date. I was right to be hesitant. He finally called me two weeks later and said that he was now ready to do the work. Since he did not call me when he said that he would, I let him know that I was not interested in him doing work at my home due to his lack of timeliness.

New door and frame is a more solid fit for the changeing season conditions. I am pleased with the door and with the installation of the door.

His work is outstanding. Everything he does is to perfection. In terms of promptness, he did come though it was difficult to get him out. I agreed to the estimate which was the minimum of $525. He didn't do what I hoped he would do, but did what he said he would do. It took him five weeks to come back out. This wouldn't have been an issue if I didn't work two jobs and didn't have company coming. When he did arrive he was late. He left in the middle of my job to go give an estimate to another individual. I think that there is a chance I was over charged. When he left I asked him if I could call again, he said you need to give me more time.

Gil was able to do this job in the evening, which was great for us so we didn't have to take time off of work. He had called ahead of time to find out the color of our roof, so he could get the right color turbines. The job took him about 2 hours & he cleaned up everything when he was finished. He also said that when he removed the old turbines, he found that the holes in the roof beneath each turbine hadn't been cut large enough to let out enough air, so he enlarged them. This is the first time we've hired a handyman service to do a job, & I will definitely call them again in the future if the need arises.

Wonderful experience, showed up on time for the estimate, very thorough in explanation of work needed. Due to bad weather, needed to reschedule work, always called to let me know timing. Arrived home to work completed and very good clean up.

He did excellent work, was very thorough, precise, & competitively priced. He seemed very honest. I asked what price was agreed to after work was done (didn't have quote at the time). He processed the payment I told him, no questions.

HE IS GREAT! HE IS PROMPT, DEPENDABLE, AND DOES A GREAT JOB!

30% OVER ESTIMATE (OFFERED TO BRING HOURLY RATE DOWN TO REDUCE BILL, BUT I REFUSED). BUT UNCOVERED MORE ROTTING WOOD, PORCH WALLS IN WORSE CONDITION THAN WAS ESTIMATED.

TIM INSTALLED AN APRILAIRE HUMIDIFIER ON MY FURNACE FOR $450. PRICE WAS SIMILAR TO HIRING AN HVAC COMPANY TO DO THE SAME WORK. TIM TOOK EXTRA TIME TO DO A THOROUGH INSTALLATION JOB AND I'M VERY HAPPY WITH THE RESULT. IT LOOKS LIKE A VERY PROFESSIONAL INSTALLATION AND SHOULD BE TROUBLE-FREE. I WAS PLEASED THAT TIM WAS REACHABLE BY EMAIL.

HE DID AN EXCELLENT JOB. I WAS VERY HAPPY WITH HIS SERVICES. HE WAS THOROUGH WITH THE WORK, POLITE, AND CLEANED UP AFTER THE WORK WAS DONE. THE WORK REQUIRED A BIT MORE THAN ORIGINALLY PLANNED AS THE WATER LINES WERE BLOCKED AND OLD GALVANIZED PIPES HAD TO BE REPLACED. HE HELPED RESTORE WATER PRESSURE AND SOLVE AN OLD LEAK. I WOULD HIRE HIM AGAIN.

HE DID NOT HAVE A COPY OF AN INVOICE.

TIM WAS GREAT TO WORK WITH AND WE HAVE ALREADY HIRED HIM FOR ANOTHER JOB (INSPECTING OUR FURNACE).

I STARTED OUT WITH A SHORTER LIST OF REPAIRS, BUT WAS SO IMPRESSED WITH TIM'S WORK THAT I ADDED SOME AS WE WENT ALONG. HE HAS ONE PROJECT LEFT TO FINISH-A ROOF PANEL FOR MY METAL POOL BUILDING. IT IS PROVING A CHALLENGE, BUT A FEW OF MY TASKS WERE AND HE SHOWED GREAT CREATIVITY AND GOT THE JOB DONE. I HAVE NO DOUBT HE'LL COME UP WITH AN ANSWER FOR MY POLE BUILDING TOO. I'M SURE THAT FUTURE PROJECTS WILL POP UP, AND YOU CAN BET THAT TIM WILL DO THE WORK.

OUR OVERALL EXPERIENCE WITH TIM HAMRE HAS BEEN EXTREMELY POSITIVE. WE DEFINITELY WOULD RECOMMEND HIM AS A HANDYMAN.

THIS IS THE FOURTH TIME WE HAVE CONTACTED THIS COMPANY. EACH PRIOR TIME THE WORK HAS BEEN EXCELLENT AND THE PRICE REASONABLE. HOWEVER, WE HAVE ALWAYS HAD TO WAIT A LONG TIME FOR TIM TO RETURN PHONE CALLS AND THIS TIME AFTER WE REACHED HIM IN JUNE, HE TOLD US IT WOULD BE JULY BEFORE HE GOT TO US. (HE TOLD A NEIGHBOR, WHOM WE HAD REFERRED TO HIM THE SAME THING.) THE NEIGHBOR GAVE UP AND HIRED SOMEONE ELSE THAT TIM HAD RECOMMENDED. WHEN HE STILL HADN'T SHOWN UP OR CONTACTED US BY TODAY (AUG. 2), WE CALLED AGAIN AND TIM REFERRED US TO THAT OTHER COMPANY. WE'VE CALLED THE COMPANY, MAC OF ALL TRADES, BUT THEY ARE AN UNKNOWN, ALTHOUGH TIM HAS VOUCHED FOR THEM. MARKAM MAINTENANCE IS SIMPLY TOO BUSY, YET HE SAYS HE WANTS TO BUILD HIS BUSINESS. THIS WON'T HAPPEN UNLESS HE GETS ADDITIONAL PEOPLE, SO HE CAN FULFILL REQUESTS FROM CURRENT CUSTOMERS.

A VERY GOOD EXPERIENCE. SCHEDULING WAS A LITTLE TOUGH, BECAUSE WE WERE SOMEWHAT AT THE MERCY OF THE WEATHER, SINCE WE WERE DEALING WITH AN OUTDOOR FAUCET. SINCE I WORK A LOT, I GAVE TIM A KEY AND HE WORKED IT INTO HIS SCHEDULE. THE CEILING DOOR LOOKS GOOD--LIKE IT WAS MEANT TO BE THERE. IT WAS GREAT TO HAVE A HANDYMAN WHO COULD DO BOTH THE CEILING WORK AND THE PLUMBING. TIM ALSO INSTALLED A DISHWASHER FOR ME OVER THE CHRISTMAS HOLIDAYS. HE IS PROFESSIONAL, COURTEOUS AND DOES A FINE JOB OF CLEAN-UP WHEN HE'S DONE. I DEFINITELY DO PLAN ON HAVING HIM DO MORE WORK FOR ME.

HE SAID THAT HE'S RUNNING ABOUT A MONTH OUT ON HIS SCHEDULE. ABOUT 5 WEEKS LATER, I EMAILED HIM AND HE SAID THAT HE COULD COME OUT BUT DIDN'T OFFER TO DO AN ESTIMATE BUT TO JUST DO THE WORK. AFTER THAT HE, DIDN'T RESPOND TO MY EMAILS TILL 3 WEEKS LATER WHEN HE MADE ME AN OFFER TO DO THE WORK AT AN OUTRAGEOUS PRICE.

ONLY HAD 4 PIECES OF PLYWOOD CUT AND INSTALLED IN AREA ABOVE GARAGE. IT IS AMAZING THAT IT COSTS $300 TO HAVE THAT DONE. TIM DID NICE WORK, WAS ON TIME AND WAS TRUE TO HIS WORD WHICH I APPRECIATED. I WOULD HIRE HIM AGAIN.

TIM EVALUATED MY HEATING SITUATION AND SAID THIS TYPE OF PROBLEM WAS TOUGH TO SOLVE, LOTS OF POSSIBILITIES AND AVENUES TO TRY TO GET SOME IMPROVEMENT. HE CLEANED PARTS OF THE FURNACE AND MADE SOME ADJUSTMENTS TO THE BLOWER MOTOR SPEED. HE ALSO GAVE ME SOME ADVICE IN PASSING REGARDING A COUPLE OF OTHER PROJECTS I HAD IN MIND FOR THE HOUSE. HE EXPLAINED HOW THE FURNACE SYSTEM WORKS AND OVERALL, HE WAS HELPFUL AND GENEROUS WITH HIS TIME. HE USED MY VACUUM TO CLEAN UP WHEN HE WAS FINISHED. $135 SEEMS A LITTLE MUCH FOR THE SERVICES PERFORMED, ALTHOUGH I'M A NEW HOMEOWNER AND PERHAPS THIS ISN'T EXPENSIVE AT ALL FOR HVAC WORK. UNFORTUNATELY, I HAVE NOT NOTICED MUCH IMPROVEMENT WITH HEAT ALTHOUGH I CANNOT BLAME TIM FOR THAT. HE WARNED ME THAT THERE ARE LOTS OF LITTLE THINGS TO TRY WHICH COULD EACH YIELD A LITTLE IMPROVEMENT, BUT NO QUICK-FIXES IN MY SITUATION.

HE DID A GREAT JOB AND LEFT THE AREA IN A CLEAN AND PRESENTABLE CONDITION. I COULD NOT EXPECT A BETTER JOB FROM ANY ONE. HE KEPT ALL HIS SCHEDULED APPOINTMENTS, ON TIME AND WAS A VERY STRAIGHT FORWARD PERSON. I WOULD HIRE HIM AGAIN IN A MINUTE.

MY CALL WAS ANSWERED IMMEDIATELY AND THE PERSON WHO ANSWERED COULD IMMEDIATELY TELL ME WHAT THEIR AVAILABILITY WAS.
