Paul and his team were fantastic! Every time you hire a contractor for something major there's always a little worry you are going to get "that" guy who disappears half way through the job. Klingbeil was completely professional and great to work with. When issues came up as they always do in a project of any size, they were able to deal with them. For instance, there was a rotted section of wall where the anchor for the old deck had been. Paul's team replaced the rotted section within the time and cost of the original bid. Their entire crew was courteous and respectful. Every night they cleaned up the job site. With two curious 11-year olds the minimal amount of construction debris was greatly appreciated. The 3-season room we ended up with is an amazing space. Paul took the concept we game him and created a high quality addition that is fun to be in. Despite a couple of surprises along the way, Paul finished the project within the original estimate and by the date he promised. Paul Klingbeil is a contractor you can hire without worry.

Paul and his crew did an amazing job on our porch and deck. His crew was very considerate for our yard and always completed a clean up after each day of work. Outstanding experience. Paul Klingbeil was very helpful in determining an approach to replacing or repairing an older existing deck. I had used Klingbeil Construction to partially replace an existing deck at a previous house a few years prior. Once again, his high standards for quality resulted in an outstanding job. For example, when the lumber that had been delivered included some boards that were slightly flawed, Paul asked if it was OK to take a couple extra days so that he could exchange the flawed boards for better ones. I suspect other contractors might have just used the lumber that had been delivered and would not have taken the time and initiative to ensure the job met the high standard of workmanship that Klingbeil requires.

We contracted with Paul to expand our current deck, replace the old decking, railing, and install an under decking system to keep the area dry. The decking and railing products he recommended are top quality and look great and the quality of Paul's work was excellent. Klingbeil Construction was very professional and did amazing work on our screened porch for lower cost than we were quoted by other companies. Paul helped us throughout the process with design ideas, gave us clear expectations on cost and timeline, and updated us during construction. The final product was better than we imagined and cost exactly what we were quoted. Paul and his crew were phenomenal. We met to sketch out the deck based on our ideas and were able to come up a great design. Paul had good ideas for the materials and the look of the deck. We ended up going with a Azek polymer decking (two tones - light center area and darker border) and Westbury aluminum railings. They tore down a 8x13 deck and put up a new 8x13 deck with a step down to a 11x22 extension with stairs on one side leading to a new concrete platform. We are very pleased with how it looks. We later put stone underneath ourselves to complete the look.

Paul was extremely professional, price was fair, and the quality of work was impressive. I plan on calling Paul to complete my basement finish.

We hired Paul to finish our basement including a large family room, 3/4 bath, and bedroom. Paul and his contractors are very professional and Paul keeps you posted as progress is made. We really enjoyed working with Paul and will be hiring him to build us a new deck.

Our basement was unfinished we had to choose between few contractors refered by Menards and I am glad we picked Paul he was always on top of the things and communicated with his subcontractors to make sure everything is going on the direction we wanted his estimate was very reasonable and included : HVAC, electrical, plumbing , framing ,doors installation, trimming, finishing walls and ceiling we provided all the furnishing we want to use so we were able to splurge little bet on those things he took care of all the permits and inspections everything went smooth and our basement was done in about three months we are very very happy with how everything turn out so we are planning to do our deck with him in the summer

Project went very smoothly and communication was good

It went great! Paul started the job earlier than expected, got done super quick and did an amazing job. Before the job started Paul provided lots of samples and provided great products. When he was done, my yard was in beautiful shape, like the deck had been here for years. I would definitely hire Paul again!

Paul gave us a free estimate, where he outlined all of the potential pit-falls of this particular project. He had some concerns about the sogginess of the ground around our house, and knew that it could potentially add some cost to the project. He was very up front about that. He had very specific material recommendations and solid reasoning for using them. He was a very good communicator, and let us know when and what he and his crew would be doing each day. My favorite thing about Paul was how meticulous and tidy he was with his materials. Everything was always very organized, and he was very thorough in cleaning up after each day's work. We love our new deck, and would recommend Paul again in a heartbeat.

Very well. Paul listened to what we wanted to see in the new construction. We asked a lot of questions about the materials used, the type of windows, the flooring, etc in order to make sure he was on the same page as we were. Once all of those details were confirmed, then the work and the quality of the work was outstanding. We would definitely hire Paul again and would recommend him to others.

Paul was very professional and attentive to our concerns. The projects took longer than expected, partly due to the carpet installation taking longer than expected.
