replacement windows
+ -1 moreGSS was door knocking in the neighborhood, which is not usually how I pick my service people, but they all seemed so competent, starting with the first sales visit, I was pleased all along the way. Part of what drew me was the product - these windows are cool! Aside from above comments, they have screens that you can stick a pencil through, and when you pull it out again, they go back to their original shape - so there isn't anything that my dogs can do to tear them. They lock easily, they tip out for washing effortlessly, and they look elegant. I did do some comparison checking in the beginning, and also called several of their previous clients, and got nothing but positive reports. I also believe that the price of the windows was a very good deal for the quality. And the installation went very quickly and smoothly.
Description of Work: GSS replaced all the windows in my house with lifetime warrantied double pane Revere windows that are beautiful to look at (and through), and extremely easy to clean. The owner Gerry was present to measure window sizes at the start, then again supervising the installation. He was a really nice guy - answered phone calls very promptly, usually within an hour or two. The installation crew was also strong - competent, polite and neat - and they did a few extras for me at little or no cost. One of the most important parts, for me: GSS works with with an excellent finance person who helped me figure out the best way to borrow money - Scott Daugaard. I was quite grateful for his help and expertise.
